I like Bay City Rollers, Tower of Power, Andrea True and AWB. Definitly classic, a little soft on the rock part though.

I think everyone like classic rock. Maybe not die hard fans, but everyone love listening when it comes on the radio.

We have a classic rock station here in town but anyone who likes classic hits including rocks tunes into a different station. More quality songs than the other station.

When you're listening to free radio and it goes from ZZ Top to Aerosmith to Boston, it's awesome.

Plus they have double hit tuesday where they play two hits by the same band in a row.

Agreed, even many "huge" fans, they know all the big bands, and all their greatest hits, then you start to realize they don't actually know anything really that wasn't on the radio or any of the lesser bands

That sounds like the kind of stuff they do on my classic rock radio station here.
They also have "Deep-cuts" where they play really old songs/lesser known songs/rare versions of songs. I love that.

yeah. i'm kinda the same as some people have mentioned. i dont' know too much about it, but i really like it. my top classic rock fav is probably very typical. Jimi, Floyd, Lizzy, that comes to mind first.
in toronto, our classic rock station is Q107. it's great. they also used to play mandatory metallica mondays (which i know isn't exactly classic rock, but hey) and all those other things you guys have mentioned.
love covering jimi and floyd though. great songs to get lost in.

Always like the Beatles, Solo as well as a group. Some/early Stones.

*smiles* Noticed nobody mentioned Micheal Jackson or the Osmonds.

my favorites would have to be led zeppelin and jethro tull. but i also like rush, floyd, and jefferson airplane.

i used to be big into classic rock but i have grown away from the genre.

I have listened to classic rock when I was younger because my parents did, and I have grown to love it/appreciate it more. Over the years I have also gained alot of knowledge on the genre.

I like classic rock, but the only classic rock I would spend money on are The Doors and Pink Floyd. Some of the other bands have some good songs, but not enough good ones to buy a whole cd.

im so sick of classic rock i could puke..
our 17 year old however has had enough of the new put it in a can sounding like everyone else on the radio crap that passes for "rock" nowadays and has been discovering "classic rock"..
    makes me wanna puke lol...

she really seems to be getting into the scorpions, old aerosmith, quiet riot,,really all the music that was popular and on the radio when i was her age..

while i agree its far better than 90% of what passes for rock nowadays,,im sick of hearing it after all these years.....

classic rock totally, well, rocks. nowadays people don't really care what they sound like, back then there was quality. i listen to it all the time, i don't really have a favorite, its all good.
