that dont involve the computer,,or walking or standing?? ive got at least another day before i can go back to work and ive gotta leave the bandage off my foot as much as possible in the mean time. so that means i really cant be doing anything outside and im sick of sitting here.. i dont have any books that i haven't already went through a hundred times and none of my hobbies are indoor ones.. whats a hobbled workaholic to do???
ive imposed a ban on myself from sharp objects till i get my stitches out... but that is a tempting idea.....
You could use something a little less sharp and carve a vegetable/fruit. Some of the stuff these Thais carve from carrots/melons are amazing. And if you fuck it up, you've got a snack.
thats a good idea,, we just went and got a buncha fruit,,apricots, bananas, grapes,, i could make a sculpture of some sorts.. sunflower seeds fore eyes,,i got carrots,,hmmmm.. thanks for the idea,i may do that sometime before i go back to work...
Smoke some of the good herb and play the harmonica for an hour or two. You will learn the harmonica is that time period even if you can't play it. Fix something. I'm sure that something needs fixin'. Buy some Rosetta Stone programs or something and learn Swahili or some shit. Memorize words from the dictionary. Practice your spit ball techniques. Play some darts. Braid the beard.
ahh your spit balls has inspired a idea from dilligaf.. a fly blow wad gun.. i wonder if i could kill a fly with a spit wad??
see if "D" wants to play catch, toss stuff around the house and then see if she will pick it up for ya... Second thought that might prove to be deeply painful after the first toss.
we dont have a T.V. this has been one of those times i,,ALMOST regret not having one.. actually im pretty sure i can get a shoe on now , so if we have work(its been REAL slow, construction,),i should be able to get back at it tomorrow.. so hopefully i will only have to deal with this one more day of boredom.. any way it goes ill be able to get out an do around here at least by tomorrow...
I hope you can get a shoe on, just dont push it and create more of a problem. Money and something to do is great but you and I know warm moist places breed infection, be careful.
you can beat your head against denying it for the rest of your life, but no one finds real gratification without creating, and or exploring. how high or low your neighboring population density might happen to be, ain't got all that diddily much to do with it either. nor how much you own or don't nor how much you may happen to believe anyone else ought to be impressed by it either. it might always be possible to appologise to the spirit of ferral cats. or even rodents for that matter. =^^= .../\...
