Sure, no problem. Northwest Passage painstakingly recounts the ambushing of the Saint Francis fort by Rober Rogers (founder of what is now known as Army Rangers) during the French & Indian War. What is mind blowing about this book and why I recommend it in the LSD forum, is because during the hike to and from Saint Francis back to what is now New York state, they travel through the mountains and spruce bogs of modern day northern Vermont in order to get around detection. Roger's Rangers were the only soldiers, besides the Mohawk Native Americans, capable of navigating, surviving, and fighting in that harsh region, particularly during the Winter in snow storms which Roger's eventually did fight in. To read about the main character joining the Rangers, having no idea what he was about to encounter, as he writes about walking through swamps carrying canoes without touching dry ground for 9 days in a row, eating what scrapings they could get off rocks in the rivers and a handfull of corn each day while endlessly marching through previously uncharted territory, etc. etc. can really make you open your eyes to how easy modern life is for some of us and how pathetic it is when we complain about certain things. Dune, well that is a very popular book for which full reviews can be found easily online, but in a nutshell it's the story of the planet Dune which is without enough water, yet grows a natural drug like spice called melange (if I remember correctly?) which a family and controlled army attempt to harvest as they control the planet in order to capatilize on the massive amounts of money to be made since living there is so difficult. Anyway it turns out the main character just happens to be the prophet the natives of Dune have been waiting for, and I wont ruin the book for you beyond that. Endymion is like Dune x 10000000 as if the author took a whole bunch of LSD and went nuts  Way to detailed to give a review on here since there is more than one story going on at all times. Bhagavad Gita is the Hindu bible, I think that should be self explanitory. And last but not least of my list, I'll copy from wikipedia the explanation for the I-Ching since really it can be interpreted in many different ways. "The I Ching (Wade-Giles), or “Yì Jīng” (Pinyin); also called “Book of Changes” or “Classic of Changes” is one of the oldest of the Chinese classic texts.[1] The book is a symbol system used to identify order in chance events. The text describes an ancient system of cosmology and philosophy that is intrinsic to ancient Chinese cultural beliefs. The cosmology centres on the ideas of the dynamic balance of opposites, the evolution of events as a process, and acceptance of the inevitability of change (see Philosophy, below). In Western cultures and modern East Asia, the I Ching is sometimes regarded as a system of divination. The classic consists of a series of symbols, rules for manipulating these symbols, poems, and commentary." - Wikipedia Hope any of that sounds interesting to you, I could list many more but these have been my favorite books so far XD Namaste!
Siddhartha by Herman Hess is probably my favorite book. Another great one would be The Only Dance there is by Ram Dass, you should REALLY check this one out. Its great.
Yea Siddhartha is a good little book, I read it in just over 3 hours It's nice because it lets you step back and look at how pointless spirituality is until you learn to let go, as you keep looking for truth you only find more misery and failure
Instead of reading, how about writting down your own views, and stuff that has been of purpose to you.
The four books i decided on were DMT:The Spirit Molecule, True Hallucinations, Tranceformers:Shamans of the 21st Century and The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls:Unlocking the secrets of the past and present..excited ^_^, and as for the post above i do right down my thoughts, as well as share them with others to increase their awareness..
