Then realised Americans have basements and 'washrooms' etc (that they put them in).

My in-laws have a washer and dryer in their kitchen and my grandparents did when I was a child, too. So washer and dryer in the kitchen isn't really all that strange to me. And our washer and dryer are in the little hallway just off of the kitchen, so there's only a wall seperating them. Maybe the stove and fridge prefer the company of laundry appliances and we just never knew

 

That just goes to show what happens when you have SEX!!!
