Near me I have this 181 and 225 bus service. It seems to be the only bus I have actually fell out of, instead of walking off. This is due to high volumes of kids, workers and other bric and bracians. There are only two buses and one shuttle on the 181. So if you miss the first one going out, you have to wait for the return to station and then start a new route. Recently they extended the 181 to Grove park (Ganglands paradise). The 225 goes to Hither Green. A small but large station that has many a criminal reputation.
Hatred would be a bizarre reaction to public transport. I use all four options on a regular basis and 90% of the time they are perfectly fine. The other 10% I suffer something close to mild chagrin...
I'd have to say national coach because it once took me 12 hours to get from London to Manchester due to a motorway accident, and I didn't have any food or drink on me
I prefer trains, cheaper for a return trip to the city centre then a bus, less dirty, and less people smoking and playing shite music at the back.
Why isnt magic carpet an option? edit: aaaarrrgh hiram joseph dude beat me to it!!! oh well, looks like its back to the cave for me.
I have a fear of planes. Well taking off part. When you are strapped into your seat, all around are passengers with massive cheesy grins on their faces as they press their noses up against the window. Then the beast springs into life and suddenly everyone is jolted back while the plane attempts its billionth miracle of flight. As you ascend through the clouds, I can't help thinking that the engines will suddenly stop working. But on the ground. The 25, 15 and 18 buses. They are notorious for dementors/hoodies. Soulless youngsters with a knife, waiting to use it after they take your money. They thrive off the tears of the victims.
I LOVE taking off in planes Im always one of the people with cheesy grins with my nose pressed to the window Hate long haul flights though...oh my lord...i never knew it was so bad
+1 on the falling out of 225. And the drivers are RUDE. But I do like No. 1 buses. It goes from near my house to right near denmark st.
the local bus, because it costs me more to get to a town less than 45 minutes away(by car, bus takes half an hour more on a good day) than it does to get a coach to london. bloody first buses.
Def the buses; so damn expensive! Maybe more people would use public transport and help the planet out that way if it wasn't so expensive!
Megabus journeys are fucking horrific. The seats are jist a wee bitty too low to rest your head on without straining your kneck when you're 6ft or more, its uncomy, takes ages and is generally just crap. Going to london and back in the space of a weekend on one of these bad boys truely is hell.
Local Bus cos they are just not frequent enought round here hence why a lot of people drive! I use the bus and I drive and we hae one car between the two of us.
train travel stresses me out, i just cant handle it. i try and go on later trains if i can cuz all the people, plus them never arriving on time, just gets me in a state!
