Hello folks, I am currently working in the bahamas but want to travel to costa rica. I want to work while I am there. I am PADI certified divemaster and that is what I would prefer to do but I also have a degree in ecotourism and adventure travel. I would prefer to live near atenas. If any one has any information whats so ever please help me.
from the lonely planet costa rica guide, "some of the best ares for diving are off the northern part of the northern part of the Peninsula de Nicoya at Playas del Coco, Ocotal and Hermosa" Isla del Coco has the b est coral and marine life. go to www.underseahunter.com. its a dive trips company. there you could possibly find employment info. www.aggressor.com is a US owned company, you might have better luck landing a job with them. Atenas is in the middle of Costa Rica, so its not too close to the shores, but its not far either. Do you know spanish?
