Whats yours?

So far in my 2 years or more of driving, I have been on the curb 3 times, almost killed a man, hit a bus, and the usual fender benders.

 

You mean like accidents and such..?

I've been in six that were not my fault, one was pretty bad...
I ran over my mailbox (don't ask)
And on an icy road I went off the side of the road and down a hill...That's about it though...

 

I've been pulled over three times.

All in one trip. Two of them within about three minutes of each other.

 

as a teen I was driving smoking a joint in the country and slid off the road into a farmers fence at night

Once i sideswiped a parked car on the way to high school

I have had one speeding ticket, one rolling stop, one failure to yield, and one illegal left turn

 

So far I've fallen off my motorbike three times, none of which have been nasty.. but would've been if I hadn't been wearing my gear.
Run into a kerb once (trying to take a shortcut, heh.. no seriously), had a bastard in a van almost reverse into me too.

 

I've run over the curb plenty of times, but most of them were on purpose. We had to get off campus somehow in highschool when I had people with me that didn't have off campus passes.
I've had 2 speeding tickets (i'm lucky there haven't been more), 1 of those red light camera tickets even though I didn't even actually run the light, I rear ended someone but I didn't get a ticket because there was lots of shit going on (18 wheelers in the middle of the highway, gunmen running loose, cars slamming on brakes, etc) and it couldn't have been avoided. And some idiot rear ended me in a parking deck and tried to blame it on me.

 

I've had my license for 4 months and have never gotten a ticket or had any accident, I think I ran over a squirrel though. poor squirrel

 

My record's clean

 

My record is immaculate which is surprising given my 16 years on the road which include several cross-country excursions.

But oh, I’ve been ever so close on numerous occasions.

One time I was driving 85 mph on the massachusetts turnpike when I passed a statie, his lights immediately went on, and I knew he had me dead to right, when some fool blew past me on the right going at least 95 mph.

Before pulling over the other motorist he pulled in directly behind me to scare the shit out of me, then drove on

I've been pulled over once. I had a tinsy winsy bit too much to drink. I know, that's baaaaddddd. Whatev. Anywho, he let me walk home, so I'm clear other than a parking ticket.

Off record, I almost hit a mom pushing a stroller. It was totally a driving without paying attention moment. Haha oh well, all were fine. Otherwise, just little things like accidently running a red light and such.

I'm a terrible driver. I don't do much of it.

i've had 2 reckless driving for speed, both times i got the judge to lower it to regular speeding... once speeding through a red light camera, although i had to speed to avoid being rear-ended... one stop sign violation, even though i stopped at the sign long enough to pull my phone out of my pocket and dial a number while i was sitting still, but i had an open beer in the car so i didn't want to argue... one DUI... several warnings when i was delivering pizzas... once i was in a car that got pulled over; the driver was drunk so the cop told me to drive home; 5 minutes later i was pulled over and this cop said i was drunk so the original driver had to drive home... i've been rear-ended 4 times, once in the driver's ed car... when i was about 10 i scraped my dad's car up against the side of the garage...

that's all the major stuff i can remember offhand; there may be more to come...


oh yeah, in high school i hit a deer; or more accurately i stopped and a deer ran into the side of my truck...

 

i fell of my Harley going about 50 and landed on my head and didnt get hurt, its good to be one with the Tao. Another time drunk i went on a curb then off goin 100 and didnt even fall, now thats how i learned my lesson.

 

I've had two speeding tickets and I've bumped two people....both times those fuckers slammed on their breaks and well my breaks and tires were shitty. Oh and one girl hit me because she was texting while driving.

 

no tickets. I harmlessly bumped into a wall when I first started driving, when I was trying to park in front of that wall. I once hit the kerb in a turn, driving a van, apparently we were doing a bit of a wheelie there for a second. and my big one, made a right at a green light without realizing in that country, a green light means you can drive straight ahead; if you want to turn, you also need a green arrow pointing in the desired direction. a lady slammed right into me, sparks flew, the airbag released, and both cars were pretty much totalled.

I feel kind of bad in retrospect, but I just maintained "I had a green light." and she was tired and uncertain, so we split it, cost me $400. apparently the cops were all off chasing down some gunman, or they would've been at the scene and most likely gone "ok mr foreigner, you're coming with us."

 

In the ten years I've been driving, I only have gotten into one accident (which wasn't my fault), and was issued a ticket for running a stop sign (which I didn't run). Other than that I have a clean record.

 

I've just had a few "near misses" and two "Holy shit that was lucky" moments. Never been pulled over and never crashed into anything

i got a speeding ticket over three years ago on that same turnpike.... think i was going 87....

yeah...i don't have an excellent driving career...the usual speeding tickets and a couple of stupid accidents when i was first learning to drive..my record is pretty clear now...did you know that even when an accident is someone else's fault, it still shows up on your record?

i've never been in any real serious accidents, like rollovers or anything....i've been rear ended (was at a dead stop and some woman came barreling along in her HUGE suv and rear ended my little corolla at about 50 mph...thanks goodness the bumper did it's job and took the brunt of the force...)

 

my driving record is squeaky clean. 7 years worth of driving. no tickets, never been pulled over - though i routinely break many rules

never been in an accident.

i have been chased for flipping a guy off. if my sister wasn't in the car, i'd have pulled over and beat the shit outta the guy...but she was with me and her safety was priority.

 

I think the driver of the 18 wheeler robbed a convenient store like 50 miles away and there was a high speed chase that ended right by my school.
