I had psychosis a year ago and the doctors and everyone else thinks its because i smoked too much skunk. Has anyone else had these problems? Does anyone think that maybe the wrong type of thinking along with smoking can lead to these problems?
ddddddddaniel2578- most of the studies i have read name marijuana as an antagonist for already present mental conditions...not the cause. the biggest push in media i have seen about 'psychosis' caused by 'skunk' marijuana is in the united kingdom. the articles are all obviously written to push a political agenda, and the citizens in that country dont seem to care that such bullshit is being written, even though they know its crap. i don't believe any of it. i have smoked for over a decade and met thousands of stoners, none of whom i can say for sure was worse off after smoking weed. i do, however, believe that using stronger stuff can possibly aggravate an already present problem. people i know that were diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic were deeply affected by smoking strong marijuana. it made them a little more distant, but luckily, less motivated to act out thier impulses. i am not a doctor and do not recommend anything i have just said to be taken as medical advice.
