I had psychosis a year ago and the doctors and everyone else thinks its because i smoked too much skunk. Has anyone else had these problems? Does anyone think that maybe the wrong type of thinking along with smoking can lead to these problems?

most of the studies i have read name marijuana as an antagonist for already present mental conditions...not the cause.

the biggest push in media i have seen about 'psychosis' caused by 'skunk' marijuana is in the united kingdom. the articles are all obviously written to push a political agenda, and the citizens in that country dont seem to care that such bullshit is being written, even though they know its crap.

i don't believe any of it. i have smoked for over a decade and met thousands of stoners, none of whom i can say for sure was worse off after smoking weed.

i do, however, believe that using stronger stuff can possibly aggravate an already present problem. people i know that were diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic were deeply affected by smoking strong marijuana. it made them a little more distant, but luckily, less motivated to act out thier impulses.

i am not a doctor and do not recommend anything i have just said to be taken as medical advice.
