I've been working out for that past couple of months and I was just wondering who else works out. I personally work out different exersices with dumbbells. What do you work out?
Sometimes. I should more often, though. =/ My goal for the summer. I have a treadmill... and sometimes I do pilates.
I take/teach martial arts, and i lift weights 3 times a week. I want to start running in the mornings, but well...eventually.
i run every friday with four of my friends.. we call ourselves "friday night running crew" because we're lame like that. aside from that my exercise routine is limited. I'm always "going to" exercise more, i'd like to start running of a morning and things, because i have this perception that people that do that are better at life. I WANT TO BE BETTER AT LIFE DAMMIT!
How'd i know before I saw the results that kinda would win by a landslide? I have to work out and eat sashimi on a regular basis to offset the insane amounts of corona i drink during the summer (Sam Adams during the winter). I do strength training(which doesn't entail much cardio), because i'm not super concerned about losing weight, plus they say with strength training that you'll burn calories just sitting around in between workouts anyways. Lifting weights or whatever is also great for relieving everyday stress. I think a lot of psychological disorders (depression in particular) could be very simply corrected through exercize no matter how you do it.
I've always been quite fit and physically healthy, quite Sporty and energetic however, as the years accumulate I find that the arthritis I discounted when young has caught up with me. The Ankles, Knees and Back can't cope with the pounding, so treadmills, Cycling and weights are a problem. So it's now down to stretches, breathing and yoga type exercises. Still at least the mind is still atciev <Peace+Love~Save the Planet> +
i workout 4 or 5 times per week. my usual routine is 2 yoga classes per week, 1 spin class, one day of weight work and one day i spend an hour on the ellipitical machine.
I don't regularly work out, but I try to be more active (like walking more instead of always taking the bus).
Agreed. Is it true that endorphins are released from the pituitary gland during exercise? If so then that would explain my bright attitude after running.
Hike, jog, run, swim, walk, ride bike depending on weather and mood, etc.. Use light weights a couple times a week.
I surf whenever the surf is on, and when it is really going off, I tend to stay in the water for up to 9 hours in a day, only coming out for like 15 minutes to get food and water in my system every two hours or so. When the surf is flat, and sometimes even when there was good surf but I had a session shorter than three hours, I do other exercises like pullups, pushups, squats, lunges, a variety of crunches, leg lifts, ect. I need to start running and cycling though, I want to finish the Ironman triathlon. (4.5km swim + 180km cycling + run a marathon.) I'd be able to do the swimming leg in my sleep, but the cycling part will take some serious training. I think I'd be able to complete a marathon right now, even though I haven't ran in ages. With some training I'd be able to actually run a marathon instead of walking it. I would like to be able to do a half ironman by the end of next year.
