Ok I want to get some things settled. when americans toke from a bong, how do you do it? what sort of hits? how much weed in the average hit? average bowl? Caus here in australia, we punch our bongs, we take the whole bowl (which is smaller than american bowl) in one hit. well if your not a big smoker sometimes u cant do that, but thats the aim lol. but yeh whats the story.
You can't just ask "How do americans do it". Noone in ANY country does it the same way... Just out of my friends alone, we all smoke completely different. For instance, my friends suck ass at rolling joints, packing bowls, breaking up herb, taking hits, talking while they smoke, etc, and I don't.
The bongs I have used have bowls way to big to take everything in one hit. With an average amount of people I'm smoking with, say three four or five, I usually expect 2 hits. We pack pretty fat bowls though.
The bowl on my friends bong is huge, when you pack it, it can get probally 5-8 hits before its cashed, of course, your still taking the biggest possible rips you can.
It depends if I'm smoking with other people..then I'll pack a fat dense bowl so it lasts atleast 1 rotation around..so it really depends on the amount of people.. i usually just smoke joints or blunts with groups my favorite is bong-toking alone though.. you just pack a hits worth so your hitting all green and burn it away and clear it in 1 hit.. this gets you stoned in 2-3 hits and you get nice, clean hits
well most of the time i have a big party bowl where i pack anywhere from 0.5 - 1.0 so lots of people get lots of hits. i have also have another bowl i use when it's just a few people, it's for 3-5 really big hits.
depends sometimes we load small bowl and cash it with 8 foot bong or we load big bowl and it goes round a few times
but like, the hti sizes is waht im talking about... to punch a cone really requires you to fill every little space in your lungs. ive not seen pictures of these humungous bowls that are up to TWLEVE times as big as our australian ones. (by fandango ie, and 8 by tainted) americans smoke green, and twleve full green cones would be almsot a gram if not more.
My friends and I pack 1 hitters in bongs. How to describe the hit size?.....enough that you can pull it through with one good breath. It's efficient. We smoke KB so it doesn't take a lot.
All bongs used to come with one hit bowls. I've still got one, from a US Bong (best bongs ever- legislated out of buissiness in the 80's), I've had for about 28 years. And than they started coming with those little pewter bowls that hold about 3 hits. For a while, bongs with carbuerators where illegal, so we had to make our own holes, or settle for those lousy slides.
The way i take hits, I pull real slow until my lungs start to burn. Then, I pull real hard and clear it all in one. It gets me pretty toasted. Kinda like now.
you'd have to have superhuman lungs to smoke a packed bowl in 1 hit form my bong. The bowl can fit about 1.25 g in it
