so it's more of a true story than a joke, but...

As part of my friend's job she has to ring up outpatients and doublecheck appointment times with them.

Her co-worker has a similar job and had to ring up a "Mrs Seman" on a regular basis. My mate couldn't handle the hilarity of a woman called mrs seman and would laugh and laugh when she was rung up. This of course was very unprofessional, so she asked her coworker to use Mrs Seman's first name next time she rang her. Her co worker agreed and my friend thought all would be fine....

only, when her co worker rang up Mrs Seman and said "Hi, may i speak with Phyllis please" my friend had to leave the building she was laughing so hard.

So yes, Phyllis Seman is a real person. Magic.
