wanna get a piercing.. where, oh where?

So, I want to get a piercing. It won't exactly be my first cuz i used to have my cartilage pierced but i took it out a few years back cuz i had longer hair, you never saw it and i didnt really think it suited me so well.

Now, however, I want to get something done thats more me and something that suits me and that i like...

Now, I want a septum, but not a huge one, and I have been kinda wanting one for a while cuz i like them but most people are very much discouraging it (most are fairly no-no to "weird" piercings anyways; i dont really care though) because they dont particulary like the look. i think its also useful how well you can hide it iwthout removing it as well. and as for the bull-look, whatever, im a taurus anyways, it fits

For a few years now, i have also wanted to get my lobes down, but only for the sole purpose of stretching them, but nothing past a 0g...cuz i dont really dig the HUGE hole look, i think 0g is pretty much a good size to stop at that i would be comfortable with...the problems with that are cost (i wanna use tapers($), piercing($), and earrings ($) )and the fact that they are non hideable, with the exception of the coverings you can put over the hole.

and i also received an offer from my sister to get my eyebrow pierced as well for a christmas present...now, i've been told by a lot of people that i would look best with that done and that it would suit me, but im not entirely crazy about it, i do think its cool though..i just dont know if its quite me, you know...and i figure if i want something different instead, she would still pay since its still a piercing rite.

so, opinions please! septum, stretched lobes or eyebrow...another friend recommended just the conch by itself...little odd i think but i think it would actually be pretty cool even by itself

what do y'all think as experienced people in the piercing world?

 

I voted septum ... I love mine.

And they are madd easy to hide, if you need to.
Just flip it up into your nose.

im not generally that stoked on eyebrows. get your septum. i have mine and i love it.
if you want your lobes you should get those too, having stretched ears is awesome. and you know, you can get your lobes pierced at a large guage (some piercers will go up to 2g, 4g is more common) which really cuts down on time and money.

It sounds like you want the septum most of all, and I kinda like that the 'bull look' fits you as a Taurus (lol), so go for septum.

 

yeah, I'm really seriously considering going for the septum...maybe do the lobes somewhere down the line....i mean, its a totally awesome piercing..

uhh...Is it called punching when they do that? im not too crazy on the idea about getting them pierced large cuz i heard that if i wanted them to close up again, they couldnt!...it kinda scares me....and i think the whole process of stretching them makes the end product very well worth it...almost like dreads, you work at them for a long time and when you get your end product you're more satisfied than if they had magically appeared....least, thats how i kinda see it

i'm hoping to get pierced over my winter break in a few weeks...

....and yea, i agree on the eyebrow, they're kinda meh. i heard they can be kinda a bitch somtimes, getting caught on shit...my cousin had one and it ripped out completely when he pulled off a football helmet.

 

no, they use a needle and a taper usually. no skin is removed. it does have less of a chance of healing up though.
do you realize that your ears may never shrink down from 0g? the average point of no return is 4g-2g.
eyebrows are also rather prone to rejection, its just a glorified surface piercing. a friend of mine has pierced his 5 times and every time it rejected.
i know what you mean about stretching you lobes. its very satisfying to do every stretch and work it it and have a beautiful final product.

I think I'll go for the septum. I'm not psyched about the negativity I know I'm going to get for it, but honestly, I don't care that much and It's easy to hide like Josh mentioned in case I just don't want to deal with the lame comments and whatnot.

I think I might go for the lobes in the spring. I've got some issues I need to sort out with work(I work in a kitchen where piercings are absolutely no problem) but I wanna quit, and depending on where I go after that, it might not be alright to have them done, so I'm gonna wait a bit on that. But if and when I go for the septum, I'll definitely ask questions about stretching and what they can do for me.

Well, since I don't have a picture of you to really visualize which piercing I'd pick, I'm going to go with the one I would pick for myself...that being the septum piercing! I think they look amazing, though I have heard that they can stink! lol

 

I'd say eyebrow piercing, they look extreamly attractive on athletic bodys....
