Pregabalin (opiate, MDMA, sedative, upper)

So I just recently heard about this and thought it sounded pretty freaking cool. I haven't tried it myself but its supposed to regulate electricity in your brain or something and produces a unique high. Its perscriped in the UK and europe to treat epilepsy. Some people describe it as feeling like an opiate, others like E, others like a benzo...some say it feels like all of them combined. Anyhow I'll post a trip report (it is not my own) so you guys can get the picture. I also have an extremely cheap source for this, PM me if you want it.

DOSE: 700 mg oral Pharms - Pregabalin (capsule)
BODY WEIGHT: 165 lb

Let me start by saying that I was rather excited to be legally given a sample bottle of lyrica by my doctor, the new wonder drug that supposedly feels like GHB, MDMA, and some type of painkiller feeling. I was rather excited by the thought of such a wonderful drug, but I was truely skeptical. I knew I had to try it to make an informed descision, so here I am.

10:00 pm: 700 mg of pregabalin was ingested. I was truely excited to try this drug hoping that it would be differant than neurontin.

10:30 pm: woah... I am starting to feel a slight benzo like buzz, best thing I could compare this to right now would be alprazolam. I am starting to think this may be something worth my time.

11:00 pm: I have been getting higher and higher since the 30 minute mark. The benzo like feeling has faded and I now feel an absolutly electric sence of touch, everything I touch feels like the most incredible texture ever, especially my hair. The feeling is comparable to MDMA, with the slight sedation brought on by GHB. This is absolutly wonderful!!

12:30 pm: This is really quite incredible the feeling has certainly peaked. I feel an intense euphoria with a slight opioid like body buzz. I am thinking this drug is going to be the next big thing it is only a matter of time before the CV is raised. This drug makes benzos look like childs candy and it somehow is on a lower schedule.

I am enjoying this feeling so much I am going to have to stop this report. This feeling has stayed with me for more than four hours and has not declined in the least. This is probably my new drug of choice. To anybody doubting the effectiveness of this drug trust me when I say this works. I have done just about every common drug there is, and a good deal of rare types, so I know when something is working. good luck and stay safe.



There are many reports of it producing very pleasurable effects, sounds like its worth investigating to me!

 

I have ordered some and will post my own report when I get it. I can't believe no one else here finds this interesting, its quite a big hit on some other forums.

 

Is this drug new, I've never heard of it. Is it illegal?

Ok, so I just saw a comercial for this drug, under the brand name Lyrica. Its being advertised as a treatment for the pain from Fibromayalgia. I'd love to hear more if anyone else has any stories...

Its actually sometimes to be a fairly safe drug. The potential for abuse has been partially realized which is why its scheduale V in the states, which is no big deal. I think the high is way better then it is for others, but there are plenty of reports of it being a good high on erowid.

 

i totally have fibromayalgia. well i do now. do you think its one of the perscriptions you can get for 4 bucks from wal marts pharmacy?

 

I just tried it I weigh about 165lbs and took 300mg and it was amazing. I was not expecting anything but was actually blown away. And I felt the exact same before I even read this post, feels like a benzo, opiate, soma mixture. Never done E so caint relate to that. If you can get some try it, its worth it at least once.

Oh and its even better with poppy seed tea (insane body buzz), but I would advise anyone mixing it with another drug to be careful because it has not been studied very intensely on its effects with other drugs.

dude Lyrica is a bunch of nonsense, its bullshit and doesnt produce any high what so ever....but then again i always had access to the real drugs that get u high like OC, Dilaudid, Xanax, Hydrocodone, ect... and yes i have tried lyrica many times b/c i get prescribed it for a few months a year ago and never got anything 'good' out of the medication, no high what-so-ever, if someone thinks they are gettin high from it then its pure placebo, trust me i know my shit.

 

^ apparently you don't actually know your shit. Lyrica is known to have a wide variation of effects on people....ranging from nothing to extreme reactions. I also have access to all those "real drugs" and I can tell you that lyrica pregabalin produced a very "real" high. I have communicated with many people...some saying that they found the experience to be a very strong one and others saying it was rather mild.

 

well when i had it, i heard things like "it may cause some euphoria" but was never able to feel anything from taking pregabalin (lyrica) its a waste of time if u ask me...shit i'd rather take a tylenol 3 then lyrica

 

I'm on pregabalin right now (150mg). At this dosage, it's an effective pain killer. At 300mg, which I take fairly often, drinking one drink (a beer, a glass of wine, a single shot drink) makes me feel like Johnny Depp looks in "Fear and Loathing", right after he does some ether.

JahRed, what dosage did you take? I do trust that you felt no effect from this chemical, but you're mistaken in assuming that most people don't become wasted on heavy (300mg+) doses.

I know it can feel good to say things like "it's pure placebo. Trust me, I know my shit", particularly for younger people (in my teen years, I was saying stuff like that all the time). It makes one feel special, and extra smart. The problem is, when someone is arrogant when presenting their opinion, and that opinion turns out to be completely wrong, the arrogant person comes across as both angry and ignorant - and contempt for the individual is heightened due to the way he/she presented the error.

By the way, I re-opened this months-old thread after doing a search for pregabalin.

I've done Lyrica before and find it to be very euphoric. I usually open the capsules and swallow the powder inside. makes it kick in faster and the euphoria seems more powerful.

its been a while since i had it though. the last time i did it, someone just gave me a pill because they didnt know what it was and only liked to do stuff they were familiar with.

 

i heard about this stuff when this thread first started and didnt think id ever get to try it, but then a couple weeks ago we found some in this twacked out ladies medicine cabinet along with some neurontin (gabapentin), and we tried it. it was me a few other friends, and it messed up our stomachs at first, but then we all definately felt effects. it made some of us pass out after the initial effects came on. in all, id say it was all right for a free high. dont do it a lot though, your not supposed to stop suddenly after doing it for a while. it definately had affects though. id say it was a pain killer and a slight upper for a while, but then it turned into a downer and a sedative type thing with a hint of a deliriant in it. it was pretty cool. we didnt try the nuerontin though cause its weaker supposedly.
