Its been a while since i've taken lsd and everytime i've tryed to share my expieriences everyone has looked at me like im crazy or just didnt bother to really listen. I guess i've just had a lot of questions too.. especially about after taking it.

Ever since I stopped taking it, i've just felt different. When ever I took it I would get intense patterns all over my vision, and for the months after whenever I layed in bed and close my eyes I would see these patterns just like the ones I expierienced when I was on lsd, also laying in my back looking at the ceiling I would see the same. It happens from time to time now, but its been maybe 9 months since I took some.

Am I crazy? Am I alone? Does or has anyone expierienced anything similar to this?

    read up on HPPH.

everytime i look up at the sky or stare at a blank wall or a white piece of paper i see what i would see if i was tripping only not as intense. just keep it positive man, think of it as a cheap thrill or a free mellow ass trip.

[and you are crazy, but isnt everyone? it's those who seem "normal" that are the craziest.]

Try hanging out with friends who take acid and can comprehend your realizations better. I see the wonderful patterns all day every day. Its a beautfiul blessing from this wonderful chemical.

I just had the biggest sigh of relief, i've felt really lonely for the past months about this subject and I dont even know why. But yeah, the sky and any blank color sets it off for me as well.

where can I search this HPPH up at? and what is it?

i think he was talking about hppd, just look it up online, but what it is is that if you've tripped a number of times, you will get some after effects such as blue orbs around lamp posts and stuff like that. probably what you're talking about too.

Well I used to take a lot of e as well and the type of blurred spikey vision around lights that you get while on it is present all the time as well. I searched up this HPPH on google and only found something that was talking about cancer..

Emmure: I'm curious if you are noticing any consistency to your visual patterns. Are they just random discharges or is there some recurring theme or element? Before I had lsd, I always had fuzzy pixellations but they appeared random. Then after I tripped with acid the visuals not only were enhanced, but contained certain consistent themes. I discussed them before in my first trip story:

    http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291512&page=8&pp=10

the visuals I speak of are near the bottom of the page I posted, in post #77, then continued onto the next page. The same patterns occur to me even now, with varied contexts.

check out http://www.hppdonline.com/forum/ helped me out alot. Exercise, lay off drugs and alcohol, eat healthy, Omega-3's help. Also being around people helps get my mind off it.

burnabowl: Yes, it is a recurring visual.. but nothing that resembles anything real like the human figure you described. Its basically many lines closely together in various patterns but none over lapping. All the lines seem to pulse, each time it shines. It has a kind of rainbow coloring to it and it seems like there is little things in it moving along inside of the lines(kind of like a mouse being digested by a snake). The patterns act like a screen, I see them over everything when I lay down to sleep. It isnt nearly as vivid as it used to be though.

meatwagon499: Im definatly going to check this site out, over the past few months I actually have been excersizing a lot more and eating healthier.. and maybe thats why the patterns arent as vivid as they were as when I was more of a couch potato. Although I have been laying off of lsd and e, I do smoke weed a lot. I hope this isnt harming it? ahah, I dont see myself quiting smoking.

I really appreciate all of the responses guys, im glad that im not alone :)
I really am itching to take some more cid though.. I love the expierience, I just dont want the patterns to become more vivid though because the first months where the patterns where were really bad I had a really hard time sleeping and ended up staying up till 3 every night and felt horrible for those few months

for me, the visuals are enhanced everytime I smoke weed, and I find that exercising more actually boosts the visuals, too. I figured that after having a chiropractic adjustment and that even enhanced the visuals that when my brain got more oxygen it produced more visuals. weed, exercise, and the chiro all deliver more oxygen to the brain.

the recurring visuals you described I also remember having. a lot of conduits; like a matrix or an infinite lattice-work; or interweaving conduits through which pulsing, impregnating energy passes. I experienced it first hand on a trip, and now it prevails in my vision

I dont know how you could describe what im seeing better than how you just did. Do you think If I take more cid that these will become more vivid?

At this point I almost have a different view on this, before I came on these forums I was afraid of this.. fearing that I may had been going crazy or something. But now.. I dont know, maybe I want to explore this more

I find the visual aftereffects of LSD to be very mild and honestly ... most of the "aftereffects" (weird lines/dots/floaters) I experienced before even trying LSD .. and I dont think I had any vision problems. It just seems to me that acid just pronounces what was already there .. but isn't that the nature of the drug itself? :) ... the only thing that really freaks me out is when I am concentrating on something .. say my computer screen .. and have a blank white wall behind it .. i occasionally see a little black speck in the corner of my eye and think it is a bug or something .. I hate bugs .. but it only freaks me out for a second :)

:) haha yes that is the nature of the drug.. and I hate bugs too.

Actually, on one of my first few trips me and my buddies decided to go walking in the hills(I live in southern california, so there are many rolling brushy hills). We went walking around 3 in the afternoon and I took my tab around that time. We walked maybe 2 or 3 miles in and took refuged from the sun under a big tree, we sat for maybe an hour or two and headed back home. Later that night I was laying on my friends couch while they were watching pulp fiction.. I started scratching my head and felt a little bump.. I thought it may have been a mole or something on my head that i've never noticed. Then I itched at it and noticed I had picked it off, I grabbed it and put it in front of my face to see that it was a big fat tick. My trip just went straight to hell as I started feeling like they were all over me biting me, I went to the bathroom stripped myself naked and saw 1 more on my knee. So I jumped into the shower and scrubbed and inspected my body for what felt like hours. Worst day ever :(

Yea that would totally freak me out. I felt something on my neck the other day and scratched and it was a tick but not attached yet .. I pretty much acted like a little girl. Luckily though I had only puffed a few bowls .. dealing with spiders/ticks/evil bugs tripping would be a nightmare

i wouldn't say the after-effects of LSD are bad at all, unless you have anxiety like me. the visuals dont bother me at all really. i notice my heart beats slightly more than normal and is noticable only when i try to sleep really.

As for a marijuana contradiction, marijuana will increase anxiety and make u feel more disconnected with reality. lay off the pot and you will feel alot better in a few days when the weed "withdrawals" wear off (insomnia, boredom).

they could become more vivid, emmure. but one thing i've learned is that the next acid trip will be a surprise. some expectations might be fulfilled, but you can always expect the unexpected. the visual I attempted to illustrate in the trip account made its appearance in the few days preceding my 2nd trip. I was seeing the person with the body of an x, then on the trip I was that person, only I was just one x among an infinite number of x's, all connected by our limbs, all fractional segments of that eternal energy conduit. shoot, i'm becoming overwhelmed just remembering it.
