i saw someone the other day with a hoop in their upper lip instead of a hoop in their bottom lip...it looked really good on them, i wouldn;t get it myself cause i dont think icould pull it off but i thought it was a cool idea and why doesn't anyone get their upper lip pierced? also, i am thinking about gaging my ears, theyre already pierced but i was wondering what is the biggest size you can go to and still have your ears be able to go back to almost normal if you change your mind
Actually a lot of people get their upper lip pierced...It's called a Madonna, but I've heard people call it a Monroe too. Btw not to be crazy about it or anything but gauges are just a way to explain sizes (like inches or centimeters) so usually it's just called stretching your ears. And most people will say the so called 'point of no return' is 2g, but that point is different for everybody...So one person may be able to go to 00g and go back to normal, but other people might not be able to.
mystery girl speaks truth. you cant be certain that your ears will shrink back from say 4g, but they might be able too. stretching above that should be thought of as permanent. you can increase your chances of it closing up by stretching very slowly and carefully, using lots of lube and waiting a long time btw stretches. as for the upper lip, if its off to the side, its a monroe or madonna and if its in the middle, its a medusa or philtrum. most people wear studs in them though, i havnt seen many rings. im going for a medusa as my next piercing
i know loads of people with monroe piercings and a few ppl with there filtrum pierced :/ in england we dont have gauges its measured in mm i stretched mine to 20mm and they shrunk down to about a 4mm within a couple months but then again my friends were also about 20 and hes had them out for about a year and there still around a 16mm :/ depends on the person really if your not sure about it dont do it but id say get it done stretched ears are awesome x
