I wish i could understand why any person could be filled with so much hate. All these wars that are happening today, all the genocides. How could any person allow themselves to hate someone else so much, that they are willing to hurt them? Prejudice...prejudice is just so strange to me. What is it about some one else being different that makes them lesser than some one else? I wish i could understand why people are so cruel. It makes me cry to think about how many people are harmed every day by the prejudgement of some one else. I just don't get it. Ghandi changed the world by himself by sharing a dream. Martin Luther KIng Junior changed the world by himself by sharing a dream. Why can't we all do it too? Whay can't we stop this madness? We could save the earth and each other, but everyday almost everyone turns their back. Must we wait until hatred is at ourdoor before we do something? I just wish i could understand.

There have always been wars. They are caused by many reasons other than prejudice. They are caused by greed, need, revenge for historical wrongs, and of course prejudice as well as other reasons. What would you have us do to stop it before it's at our door? As for the peaceful protest used by King and Ghandi, do you think peaceful protests would have stoped Hitler extermination of the Jews? I certainily don't have an answer for you. Hopefully you or someone else of your age will come up with a solution that actually works, while preserving freedoms.

Money is the newest and most common excuse for war nowadays. For Hitler, it was the need to preserve the German culture, by weeding out the ones who aren't the picture of German perfection [blonde hair, blue eyes] (not the only reason mind you, but one of them). Hatred is and always will be at our doors. Just the other day I was in a Donair shop run by Pakistani people, and in the women's washroom on the back of the stall door it said "Paki's go home" I have no idea why someone would want to write such a thing, it's s crude! But no one on here will stand up and do something about it, just sit in front of your computer, crying about all the wrongdoings in the world. Get up and fucking do something. I have joined in plenty of movement this past year, and before the year is out, I plan on attending plenty more. Get in touch with the right people. Don't just sit there whining about it.

i have been fighting for what i believe in since i was young. i just wish i knew how to approach these situations in a manner that would have an actually large impact, you know. I can tell my friends to tell their friends, and stuff like that, but how else could you do it? There must be a way to get through to people, don't you think?

Man will always be trying to find the best balance between freedom and safety and anarchy and laws. This applys to countries as well as the citizens within countries. To be free of wars you would have to have a one world government. Then there goes freedom. It is a never ending struggle to find the best balance. The only one world government that can work is the one ruled by god. In lieu of that, we just have to do the best we can.

Why does people hate? Sometimes because of their ignorance, as in the case of prejudices but there are other reasons. Often is just easier to give in and stop thinking by ourselves than facing the search of our inner identity. Also, some people think they will be protected if they are more powerful or richer and then they become obsessed about it and hate anything that takes them apart from it. Finally, some people hate because to forgive is a really tough action that takes a lot of courage and some time. I confess I have hated in some periods of my life. Like real crude hate. But after some time I realized it was just a damaging emotion. It didn't solve anything. So I hope more people get to realise it in the world. But, truth to be told, hate is part of the range of negative emotions we humans posses. I suppose it would always be out there and we will have to put up some fight if we don't want it to dominate our hearts.

Those who speak out about equality seem to end up killed. Unless you do not fear dying, shut up. Otherwise Go! And show me the way. I want to die as well.
