And before those of you knock it because of the word "diet"- it's more like eating the way a person should...common sense.... there are a few things cut out in stage one (pretty much any carbs that aren't veggies, but that is to kick start weight loss... after two weeks in stage two you can eat some other carbs again like sweet potatoes...yummm)

Anyways I'm gonna be doing a small amount of cheating (so basically im not sticking to the diet 100 %... more like 85%... ).... cause I'm gonna alllow myself a bowl of healthy cereal in mornings (in the mornings im not eating smoothies with flax and berries n cranberry juice or egg dishes)

Basically what I CAN'T eat now is refined carbs. no coffee (gonna be hard for me).... Once I get to step 3 and want to eat bread n stuff again... I have to go to health food store and get spelt bread which is soooo healthy for you and yummy. I also can't eat any oils, butters, salts, pork....

Okay to better explain it.. here is what I CAN eat (up to two eggs a day), cranberry juice (no sugar added...and supposed to drink daily), hot lemon water (supposed to drink daily), pscylin (cant spell but i take that twice daily anyways), two servings only of fruit a day (OTHER THEN BERRIES,... you can eat all the berries you want) and only two servings of fruit cause sugar content...... I can eat nuts....(haha eat nuts...wow...), ummm veggies, fresh and frozen as many as I want..... and lean meats, just not pork cause pork has bacteria and is gross n stuff.... oh supposed to focus on fish. Anyways as for seasonings (and these really do help you lose weight for various reasons, some dealing with metabolism, some with helping your liver...), you can use various things...cayenne (my fav.), parsley, cilantro, cumin, thyme, ground mustard, terragon, garlic, ginger, apple cider vinegar, coriander, cloves, fennel...etc.)-

So for me the no salt is no prob. :)

Anyways my lunch today is gonna be a can of tuna mixed with a hard boiled egg cut up, 1/4 cup of peas n a tiny bit of mayo (HOMEMADE! so it's allowed)

For dinner I'm making Moroccan Spiced Chicken- A whole chicken marinated and seasoned with cilantro, lemon, garlic, and stuffed with cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cayenne, cumin, fennel n a bit of stevia.
Served with sauteed fresh squash, snap peas and mushrooms.

    wow that was long....
but anyways last time i went on this diet and excercised (i excercise now daily and am getting TONED.... i love my toned shoulders...) I lost mad weight. Now I just want to lose mad weight again so I can look HOT not just OKAY in a bikini when it's time for beach camping in Aug.

I eat organic ginger granola from the bulk section instead of non organic (mostly crappy) cereal and find I save money too :).

The 2 fruits a day thing is a little odd just for me. I need 4-7 a day for all they provide.

Well this two fruit thing, Carl... is in ADDITION to having a serving of berries every day as well as some no sugar added cranberry juice...it's just two OTHER servings of fruit because of the sugar content.

And yeah... I can eat all the veggies I want. Veggies are wonderful :D

anyways the lunch i am eating now is fantastic. :D

What do you mean macrobreakdown for the total day? Food? excercise? I dont get it.

How much I excercise varies... every day I do 20 mins. to an hour and a half of cardio (it totalllly varies on time, motivation and what im doing) and every other day i also do 45 mins. of strength.

as long as you eat less you'll lose weight

foods taste so good (cos of all the shit on and in it) these days that people over eat alll the time. we really dont need that much food. eating really bland meals with no additives is a good way of eating only what you need cos one you're not hungry there's no reason to keep gorging.

I don't know.... I'd say I eat about 12 servings of veggies per day (many that have carbs in them)..... small servings or lean meats but i also get protein from nuts and eggs.... and i use flax oil (2 Tablespoons daily in my berry smoothies that also include whey protein).....

No like potato or bread carbs for a couple weeks but in a couple weeks I'll be able to add spelt bread (if you don't know what it is, look it up) and yams and some other things....

Believe me, it's healthy... eating healthy oils, protein (there is plenty of protein in this diet), tons and tons of fresh veggies, 4 servings of fruit a day (including cranberries and another kind of berry), herbal teas and lemon water, fresh herbs (hehe), fish and small amount of lean meats is not unhealthy.
I eat absolutly NOTHING processed or with added sugar or salt.

I work my muscles all the time... I'm not sure why you think i'd be losing muscle when just today i had whey protein, an egg, a half a can of tuna, and some chicken.

And I do VARIOUS strength training excercises to WORK my muscles.

There is no way im losing muscle as I'm starting to see TONED, BEAUTIFUL muscles in places I never even saw them before....

I do. The only oils I use are olive and flax. I just prefer to sautee with broth that I make (that way there is no salt) then with olive oil usually and get my omega3's from flax... it's better then olive oil but olive oil is good too.

    Anyways
    Guys
I'm cutting down on my benzos a HUGE amount so this is probably why this is making me upset but it IS upsetting me that people assume that fitzy knows what he is talking about and I do not.

Yes, I know fitzy knows what he is talking about....although I don't totally agree with some of the stuff he tells me about like eating huge steaks and ten eggs in a row.... but in general, yes, fitzy knows his stuff.

    But so do I.

And I'm sick of being treated like I don't.

I will be going to school for nutrition and have already studied on my own for COUNTLESS hours....

so yes, fitzy knows what he's talking about but so do i and if you dont wanna believe me... i dont fucking care. Just stop annoying me about it.

conversion ratios for flax oil to EPA/DHA are shit. i wouldn't waste the money on buying it.

stick to fish oil. then olive oil or high oleic safflower oil. then the other fats from your foods

And tell me ONE REASON why I'd be losing muscle when I eat essential fats and plenty of HEALTHY protein and do strength training every 2 or 3 days..... plus stretch and do various other things....

Just tell me ONE reason why I'd be losing muscle.... cause if you are gonna say it.... I'd like to know where that came from.

    :D

Whatever. My research told me otherwise. They are all healthy.... I'll stick to my flax oil and olive oil on occasion. I also take 4 times the recommended dose of fish oil daily (because of studies I read that taken at high amounts it not only protects the heart, nerves, and brain... but can assist in weight lose).......
And I eat nuts as snacks.

I think I'm doing fine on getting what I want.

Anyone else wanna tell me something else that is wrong about what I chose to eat? :D

thats what the questions were for, mrs. smartypants ;)

you're gonna lose muscle when your dieting down, thats what happens. you want to limit the amount of muscle loss, by getting adequate protein in your diet, then figuring out what you want to do with your carbs and fat...which is why i asked you the macro question.

    no need to be so...defensive
