I think it would be better if the 'debates' weren't televised at all but carried on radio. That would put an end to so many of the visual issues.
What difference would it make? The debates are already scripted anyway. The candidates have had weeks to memorize their bullshit. I will be watching, but only to make fun of them.
I too will be listening for the purpose of seeing how far they actually go to make their mock debate seem real. We don't have TV either -- I'll be listening live on KVMR www.kvmr.org

thank you for the info for streaming. i thought it started at 7. so i had time to watch it at a neighbors. she forced wine on me....big mistake why didn't kerry jump up and down and say "did you hear what he said! wake the fuck up you stupid sheep the man is an idiot! at least i have some fucking intelligence and can articulate more than "it's hard work, i understand"....i walked out twice and came back. uncle sam, i don't think it was rehearsed, i share your feelings on the choices but i think the debates will prove very useful. i think they may do a lot in bolstering support for kerry.
