Guinea Pigs

She looks a bit like my guinea pig, the same funny hair. Mine is black, with white and a bit brown.

She looks sweet though!

 

I was given a pair of Female Guinea Pigs about 5 years ago by someone who was planning on leaving the country, and called them Enid and Edna. Edna was much older and died a few years ago so I bought a male, Stripe, who had to be delt with to stop him getting Enid pregnant. As Stripe was becoming a horny old man and pestering Enid a bit too much (ending in her injuring him) we decided to get another female, who we have called Mopsy. Stripe is a typical male, as he spends most of the time horny unless he is eating or sleeping (although I expect he dreams of food or sex), but Mopsy is far to fast for him. Although they live outside during the summer, with all the horrible weather we have been having in the UK recently we have brought them inside, and they have quicky remembered the sound of the door to where their food is kept closing, and Stripe will start squeaking and the others will stare with their mouths going.
Sadly though I'm going to University in September and I can't take them with me so I'm really going to miss them

i love guinea pigs except was never allowed to have one because of the smell. but my friend had over 20 mice but all but 3 are dead now. one went on a killing spree and killed most of the males so she put him in solitary confinement.

YAY! A piggy thread! I have two little guinnea pigs now. My fiance bought me my Little Lulu last year for our 5 month anniversary, and just last week he bought me Yoshi for our year and a half anni. I loooooooove guinnea pigs!! I had one a few years ago with my roommate named Scooter. We ended up having to give poor Scooter away though because we were having financial trouble being in school and all and couldn't really give her the good little guinnea pig life she needed. I love my girls. They're not boring at all. They "popcorn" all the time, they run circles in the cage sometimes when they popcorn too, and they're so cute when they play with their little cardboard toiletpaper tube. Yoshi likes to hide from me though since she's new. She hasn't really gotten used to me yet. But I love catching her for a cuddle. Lulu comes when I call for her though, and loooooves to have her big butt petted.

I made this after finding this site a couple of weeks ago. I had so much fun making it and filling it up for my girls And it's so much cheaper than the pet store cages of the same size.

 

Yoshi and Lulu are beatiful!! especially yoshi... such a cute name aswell!

 

Yoshi looks like a much smaller version of my Enid. Give here a bit though and I'm sure she'll be big and fat like all Guinea Pigs

 

I have a piggie too! Yay piggies! LOL My piggie is named Sgt. Pepper He's black all over except for this shape that goes under his nose and between his eyes (kind of like a Hershey's Kiss) that's this butterscotchy colour. He's an old man now, he's three... he doesn't popcorn much anymore lol he's old and lazy and FAT omg he weighs 3.5 pounds lol but he's a cutie and I love him to pieces. I don't have pictures on my computer right now (i had to wipe my system) but when my boyfriend goes on his computer later I'll ask him to send me a couple over and I'll post them. Awww... piggie piggie piggie lol he's on my desk right now eating Froot Loops... I think I know why he's so fat
