Anybody catch those AutoTrader.ca commercials? They are moderately funny I'll give em that but they simply re-enforce the notion of what people " want " like a guy in his 40s in a bar asking a woman what her age is and then rejecting her when she says she's 37. And how about the retaurant scene where a couple celebrates their 10th anniversary and the wife then says " that's enough for me " and moves over to a 20 year old guy and pours him champaign. I know they're just commercials but they re-enforce the attitude that 40 year old men should be looking for 20 year old women and that marriages aren't suppose to last long. I was bored, I'll think of a better rant next time.
Perfectly good subject matter for a rant... it just needs a bit more of a creative and forceful delivery.
