ok so I've been having some bad anxiet/worrying and it's been really interfering with my happiness and school work. I have a problem with procrastination..which obviously contributes to my anxiety. Im a senior in high school and am under a lot of stress, partially because I put my work off. I started blazing every day as well...but I don't know whether it causes more anxiety or not. Anyway, I was first proscribed zoloft and klonopin .5mg a week ago. I took my mom's lorazepam(.5mg) and I need 3-4 to even get much of any effect. I took 2 klonopins and I barely felt much..I mean I felt alittle chilled out but not much. My friend gave me xanax to try. I took 2, didn't feel much and took the other 2 an hour later. They're .5mg. Honestly, it made me feel alittle tipsy and shit but not that fucked up or happy..Should I ask my psychiatrist to up my dose of klonopin, or ask to get xanx perscribed? Do I have a naturally high tolderance?
    thanks in advance

benzos build tolerance quicker than any drug Ive ever done, so if you took all those pills at around the same time that may be why you didnt get much effects from the kpins or xanax. also 2 mgs of xanax isnt enough to get most people fucked up, just tipsy like you said. usually its two mgs of xanax or lorazepam minimum to get effects for me, and like four mgs of klonopin. try taking a break for a week, then take a good dose, and see how you feel.

Dont ask you psychiatrist to up your dose, but say that its not doing anything, and let him infer your tolerance. doctors like to feel in control, so its pointless to ask them to so something, your better off just hinting at it. I am a little confused, though, are you planning on taking the klonopin recreationally, or for anxiety? Because in my experience, you cant do both. if you gonna take them every day, theyll probably stop getting you high. Also, benzos arent drugs that youy really want to do a lot. Theyre pretty much the most addictive drug available, more than alcohol, more than crack, more than heroin.

You're not taking a high enough dose of ANY of them to feel the effects.

And yeah NorCali is right......benzo addiction is among the hardest to kick and is also the most dangerous to kick. The withdrawals can actually be fatal, so use with caution.

thanks for the info guys. Yeah I'll sort of hint to him that I need a higher dose..I started taking them because of anxiety. But I don't want to become dependent on them..so I thought I'd just take them as needed. Well it turns out I'm anxious almost everyday so..I dunno. Lately it's been recreational to be honest but I do feel they help my anxiety..more than weed does. I'll take your advice and be cautious..I didn't know they were so addicting.
