http://www.mysticalball.com/ Go there and try it out. See if you can tell how it works. I know, figured it out last night, so see if you can tell.
Easy. The predictor only has to give a single answer which will be correct for any two digit number you start out with. When you add together the digits of any two digit number and then subtract the total from that two digit number, you will always get a multiple of 9 (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90). Go ahead, try it. When you add together the digits of any two digit number between 10 and 19 and then subtract the total from that two digit number you will always get an answer of 9 (9 equals 10-1, 11-2, 12-3, and so on until you reach 19-10). Then the cycle starts again with 18 as the answer to 20-2, 21-3, 22-4 and so on. After that, every number between 30 and 39 yields 27, every number between 40 and 49 yields 36, every number between 50 and 59 yields 45, every number between 60 and 69 yields 54, every number between 70 and 79 yields 63, every number between 80 and 89 yields 72, every number between 90 and 99 yields 81. Now, if you look at the chart, you will notice that each multiple of 9 (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90) has the same symbol. Every two digit number will yield an answer which will correspond to that very same symbol. Simple.
yeh i thought this was pretty neat too, then i realised the same thing, that they cahnged easch time. and i also jsut did the calculation for a few numbers and saw it was the same for anything
I didn't get it either until I read Varuna's post. It for some reason didn't get me every time but maybe because I sucked at math. But I bet my friend at the University won't get it! HA! I win! Thank you, Nalencer!
