I cant believe how good my mind and body feel. I have not eaten any meat for 4 months. Acually, Ive also not eaten any wheat of anykind also.. And absolutely no sugar of any kind except actual fruit sugars and agave, also wine..lol
Ive been eating all organic for the last 4 months, as well as the no meat thing. But I have to tell all of you that I have a splended array of about 30 daily core foods and 20 core spices and fresh herbs that I eat. I have been a creative chef though for the last 4 months as well..lol But its great and Im not going back for sure..

Congrats. :) It does feel great! I remember when I made the switch.

I've been a vegetarian for a while, but I recently started eating a raw vegan diet 70% of the time, and regular vegan 30%. I have more energy than I've had in a looooong time, and I feel fantastic in terms of my level of fitness. I even need less sleep to feel satisfied.

    wow, congratulations :)

I'd love to know what your core foods/dishes are! We're working on increasing our raw/organic foods, especially with summer starting ;)

Well, I don't know about the OP ... but, in terms of raw, I love salads. Not just any salad, though. I mean, 5 different types of greens, grapes, walnuts, sunflower seeds, broccoli, squash, and some yummy dressing from my raw food cook book.

I'm very fond of the recipes in "The Uncookbook." They have this soup there ... it's like "sun" soup. Put the ingredients in glass jar, leave in sun for an hour. It tastes SO yummy. You wouldn't think mixing a bunch of veggies and liquid in a jar would be so good! Really, though, all the recipes in that book are yummy.

My "staple" food that I love, adore, and can not possibly live without is an avocado. I could eat those ALL the time! In salads, in soup, in dessert, with a spoon, as a spread, etc.
