    1.
    Heartbroken tick-tocks
    cracked sounds,
    whipping down the stairway
    Running away from itself

Echoed whispers, frozend in the dark
    Exploding tears, collapsing starlight
Dissolving a life into the make believed

Far away enough to try to be someone else
    2.
    I am the shade
    Burnt against the light
Suffering inside of day instead of in the cloak of night
    Tortured each day, all alone
A dark mirror that doesn't belong
    3.
    I hear the rain
I look out of the window
    Upon the phases of time
    Falling from life to death
    Unable to fly
Having more purpose in death than in life
Heart beats exploding for the last time

    1.
    Comfort in my home
Lonilness I have found in the world
    Emotions I unfurled
In the moments I have known

    How alien life is
    To such a dreamer
    Where do I belong?
Outside of where I have dreamed
    2.
    Kitchen of dreams
    Shattered wine glasses
Pondering out of a fantasy window

Dinners set aside in an empty dinning room
Left out each night to become cold

Broken starlight falling through the night's sky
    Death's heartbeats whisking by

All of the backstage of life

    Very nice effort there WrittenSouls.

But your writing here is very hard to understand, for e.g:

    "Comfort in my home
Lonilness I have found in the world"

    I wish you the best!

You feel how "lost" this person is... how alone. There is a contrast (comfort at home - assume alone at home) while there is lonliness in the world (where everyone else is.) What a clincher... to not even belong in your own dreams... very interesting and creative.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Here is some new poems I recently wrote.

    1.
    Paper hearts
    Origami hearts
    Black inked love

    A Folded memory
    Worn and torn
Wrinkled in a faded denim pocket

    A buried treasure
    Black diamonds
Each time: The essence of a hug

    2.
    Cavern of thoughts
The cold breathes of dragon bones
    Encaging my faceted sapphire heart

    Ambivalent Ambiance, shadows upon walls
    Ambiguous as clustered clouds
    Inkblot waterfalls

    Caving, excavating aimlessly
    Wandering for meaning
    Through earth's heart

    3.
    The landscape of my eyes
    Reflections bouncing off their skys
Shadows imitating a sunset and sunrise
Overlapping a crystal garden for my soul

    A dream world, unseen, unforgotten
    Memories weaved yet unlived, unspoken
    Walking upon Broken starlight

    4.
    Dark moonlight
    Seeping through starlight
    Tucked into the clouds
    Into shades of blues

    Dreaming and thinking
Upon the beds of the sky
    Casting down shadows
As storms brews into a lullaby

    5.
    Broken starlight
    Concealed in a jar

    Frayed angel feathers
    Forming a dream catcher

    Dull pixie dust
    In a money bag

    Tears from a mermaid
    Upon an old rag

    In a man's basement

    6.
    Kitchen of dreams
    Shattered wine glasses
Pondering out of a fantasy window

Dinners set aside in an empty dinning room
Left out each night to become cold

Broken starlight falling through the night's sky
    Death's heartbeats whisking by

All of the backstage of life
