I watch and I am definetly a stoner, but Jon Stewart is GOOD.

 

The Daily show is awesome! But then again I'm a stoner and slacker...

 

i never said i wasnt a stoner, infact i take it as a complement. but i would like it if he substituted the word slacker for something like vagrant.

USA Today reported a study today that shows Daily Show audience members are far more likely to have graduated from college than O'Reilly's audience.

I thinjk it's funny that it is really the only satire show basically in the States, and it is not on Network TV...Here in Canada 3 satire shows are on the Government station... Just interesting...

haha!! The necronomicon. Bill O' Reily is the worst interviewer. He doesn;t let anyone else talk. Especially liberals. He always interupts them so they cannot spread their message across MSNBC. Bill O' Reily is a dickface.

 

My 84 year old grandma worships Jon Stewart! She thinks he is the greatest thing to ever come across her television. She is definaltey not a stoner.....but it would be funny if she was.

 

The daily show is great but Jon always bitches out when he gets a conservative guest. He had those two fucks from Fox on the show once and its like they were all having a little Tea-party. He shoulda let em have it man!

oriely is a sad man who blames society's problems on media, like rap. he cant see beyond his million dollar mansion im sure he has. thats an assumption, but i guarentee you that he cant see beyond his class priviliges. not everyone has the same opportunities that he did/has. poor man has been brainwashed and doesnt know it. i pity him more than anything. stewart is a very intellectual man who questions what society has programmed him to think. i love jon!! hes a much better news host than bill ever could be!

The Daily Show is fucking hillarious, but it is Liberally biased. No biggie though cuz the bias is easy to spot. No harm, no foul.


Oriley is a registered Independent, like me. He creates his own views based on what information he sees. I watch him now and again because although he is an asshole, he hits his guests with the tough questions we want answered. To say he is a Conservative is wrong, because he is a moderate, but his views tend to lean more conservative than liberal. That doesn't impede his judgement in any way, but it does allow him to be himself on TV. I feel as though his show is the only fair and balanced news debate/opinion show on TV right now because he speaks for himself, but I don't agree with his statement about the Daily Show. Mind you, that is his opinion and he is entitled to it. He has never claimed to be stating the facts so remember that if you feel like debasing him.

I for one think it is sad that the majority of people get their news from the Daily Show rather than watch real news, but can you blame them? News is so depressing who wouldn't want some humor packed in there with the story?

I like both of these shows, and I respect John Stewart and Bill Oriley equally. The difference is though, that if Oriley had Kerry on HIS show he wouldn't pitch girl's softball questions like John Stewart did when he interviewed Senator Kerry on the Daily show.

You are wrong if you think Oriley is a tool of any man other than himself. End of story.
