I started searching a couple years ago, but began to slow it down a bit. It seems so hard to find one; everyone is looking for one. It's crazy..crazy..

Almost 3 years ago I went on a roadtrip westward, from here (Mississippi) to California. I was 16 at the time, and rode in a broken down volkswagen that my friend drove. I was pretty surprised that the car even made it outta state...we had so many problems before just riding around town...haha. It was a good time, and I suppose for the most part I just want to get out of MS and avoid school/or military(particularly military) for the time being.

I'm 18 now, ready to go find a spot and just chill. This site has been helpful in at least that I know I'm not the only one, but then again it's disheartening because there are so many other people posting the same thread as me. Searching searching searching.

I don't know, I'm lost and open to suggestions. I would've posted this in the introduction forum but I figured the message as a whole was more relevant here. I'm sure I left a lot of details out that I should've mentioned. I feel like I have a lot to say, but then again, maybe I don't.

PS: My name is Jay. Nice to meet you. Take care~

Both your posts mention "just chillin" and I can tell you at the commune we're forming, there's no time for chillin', as we're busting ass full time just to try to make things happen, building, planting food, council, cooking, dishes, trying to get ready for the winter!
