Does everything happen for a reason when it comes to relationships?

i like this girl so much yet she still likes her ex...she knows i like her...were on break from college now and i dont get to see her as much and it makes me depressed...like seeing her smile puts a smile on my face....do things happen for a reason?

However, the reason you're heartsick is because this girl isn't as into you as you are to her. Sorry, it is a shitty feeling. She is probably a wonderful person, but, if her feelings aren't there, they aren't there. Additionally, you don't know all the issues with the ex.

The good news is that you're in a great place to meet someone who is a good relationship match for you. Don't burn up too much life fretting on this girl. In a completely non-negative way, she isn't worth it. Unrequited love is a universal experience.

I remember being physically ill because a girl I was madly into wasn't in love back. It consumed several months of my life. Now, I look back and think it was not as big of a deal as I thought.

Trust me on this. If you love her and she don't love you the same. Get out now while you have a chance. I was in the same thing. I loves him with all my heart and soul. I would have gave my life for him but Not now. The feelings i have has changed. All the heart ache and pain he has put me though , has done something to me.
