I keep forgetting where scout's first camp is, consensed at t-day council, but it'll be may 1st near a town in western wy. Really just a chance to camp in the woods before the big show, talk about good spots, so all who are near should come! I don't know if I'll go yet, even Utah to WY is a ga$. And, it'll be cold [IMG]

I see lots of people [IMG] looking for a ride to the Gathering. Well here is an opportunity to travel and share the cost of fuel.

I have a School Bus built for 89 students and have plenty room for riders and supplies. Most of the seats are gone so it is really a big open box on wheels.

I am leaving[IMG] from the area near Logan WV during the first week of June for the Gathering. Amtrak stops in Charleston, Huntington WV and Ashland KY. Greyhound stops in Huntington and Charleston, not sure about Ashland.

skoolie7@gmail.com with any questions that you have. My route if flexable and can pick up riders along the way.

I'm quite certain this is some Road Runner the Younger, not Roadrunner the Elder from Cali that works info. Made me do a double take, too. Anybody know if Roadrunner is still alive? When I saw him at the CA Gathering he'd lost a lot of weight.

I'm working in Wyoming this summer and I was so psyched when I saw the gathering is here this year. I haven't been able to make it to one yet. I'm from Colorado and just happened to be away for work a couple of years ago when it was there, I was so bummed.

Hey everyone, I know it is still almost a month before coucil decides but I was wondering if there is a general radius being considered. Reason being I have got a friend who is trying to meet us up there around june 15th by greyhound and we're trying to find the best little town to post him. So I don't know if this question will be eaier to answer as it gets closer to coucil or if we really are just completly in the dark until then. So what ya think?

Well the scouts are/were checking out N.E Wyoming. Low altitude gathering sites up yonder that way. Other than that I know of a awsome spot southeast of Jackson Hole. Hoback Junction towards Pinedale where the scout council was in the beginnig of May. I believe they will meet there again in early June for a progress report on potential sites. I do have a phone number of some friends scouting right now and can hook you up with more information once I get in touch with them. See you on the land. Peace.

I am into to Burning Man and they drink ton of alcohol. For me, because I work for the system, I cannot use drugs and the Rainbows ban booze which for me is a good thing. For me, the gathering is sober and clean event while the man is full of booze and rowdy party people. But you do not need booze there and you will having amazing times.

For me, a person with a history of alcohol problems, the gathering is more safer place than the Burn. Since I have no desire to do illegal drugs and I will do not need to drink, than I am seriously looking for alcohol-free week to spend some with amazing people.
