Intense trip from small dosages

I dunno why but it seems like my mind is insanely sensitive to acid.

I took 1/4 of a gel tab this weekend (I've tripped maybe 10-11 times, and never taken less than a whole hit before), and I tripped intensely for the whole day! Nothing mindblowing of course, but still one of my most interesting recent trips.

The trees became people, the sky filled with colourful visions, I had auditory hallucinations, and the cracks in my bedroom ceiling started to growl at me like a scene out of some cheesey horror movie (complete with intense feeling of irrational fear but not bad fear).

I had also one other very interesting visual hallucination. I was laying outside by a bush, quite stoned, and just completely relaxed my mind - everything became like it was made out of 3D blocks. The detail was retained, but it was like everything was painted onto building blocks - when I moved my head, they would shift about in line with perspective, but still as painted blocks, not real things. It felt like being in some sort of videogame.

I'll try another 1/4 hit trip sometime soon and see how I get on.

I may be in the same boat as you regarding being sensitive to lsd. But since blotter potency varies quite a bit, you might have just gotten some really good acid. Also, I get the general impression that most people take 1 or 2 whole hits, frequently without ever testing how potent the blotter is first, and so even though they could have had a powerful trip off of half a hit, they never learned this, and then just assumed that they had a powerful trip because they took 2 whole hits and thus continue that dosage pattern.

 

I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I could judge roughly what a half of a hit would do from taking a whole or even 2. It's just that less than 1 hit is very, very rarely going to do anything. I've only ever seen 1 sheet of gels that was potent enough for a half-hit to work.

 

Half hits can be great for just a nice refreshment. Hofmann dosed daily at low amounts. so I don't believe that less than 2 will very rarely do anything, that man was a highly respectable intellectual even into his last days.

 

ive never done any acid that took at least 1 hit to trip. some i find around here requires a bunch but most often its 2 hits for a good trip
