So lets say i go to a rave some where in the desert where everyone is camping and eat some mushrooms and sure enough the cops come later and i somehow get confronted and he checks my pupils and asks me why they are so dilated? I mean there are many reasons they could be but is that means for arrest or any type of punishment? i think you can be tripping and the cops can't do shit if you already ingested them help me out with this

As long as you can keep your head staight, you might just be able to say you don't know why your eyes are dilated.
"I'm sorry officer but I feel discussing my medical history with you is an invasion of my personal privacy." Another option that I always use works better => "I refuse to speak with you unless I'm under arrest [exit]"
They can't arrest you for just "being under the influence". They can try to trick you into giving up your stash, by saying you look high or whatever. Just tell them they're wrong and you don't consent to any searches. Even if they know you're tripping, if they can't find what you're holding then they can't arrest you. They can also arrest you for being unruly, or insulting an officer, so just make sure you don't do that.
They could potentially take you in for public intoxication, but if you're ok talking to him it shouldn't happen. And yes it being dark is a good enough excuse. if he shines a light right in your eyes they should get small anyways.

haha strait up that would suck. I pretty much figured the cops couldn't do anything without actually catching you with something or you doing something stupid. plus there are so many people at a rave i think the most they would do is just try and shut it down or something. maybe if the rave was on some land that we weren't supposed to be there what would happen then?
if they dont have a reason to be talking to you (IE. your doing something stupid like running around with no pant on) then they are just making conversation, and you can end the conversation anytime. so just be chill dont get paranoid, they mostly likely dont care.
^^^At a rave, they are looking for problem causers. If you aren't a pain in the ass, they'll hassle someone who is. Pupil dilation is kind of a misnomer because they are actually checking photoreactivity. Meaning that your pupils constrict due to light. Therefore, the dark excuse won't work. If your pupils don't contract when exposed to light, that is probable cause for a search. The line is "I will not a resist, but I do NOT consent to a search." Don't give up your right. If they have probable cause, they can search, but you'll have a better chance of fighting it is you don't consent.
