I have grown 3 complete crops (roughly 8 plants total) indoors. the latest is 2 plants sacra fresca plants vegged till they were roughly a foot tall under 200w cfl (800w-equivelent). I then moved them under my 600w hps (overkill for only 2 plants, i know...) where they have been for almost 3 months. (entire flowering cycle used organic fertilizers) They are incredibly healthy with ideal light penetration and im expecting just under an oz of dry for each. The main colas are slighly larger than the diameter of a toonie (maybe 5cm or so) However, i see high times articles pointing at plants under similar conditions making 2-3oz each. what are your typical yields, and do mine sound ok? PS: my containers are roughly 2.5 gallon sizes, but i dont beleive the plant is overly rootbound anyways. will a bigger (5 gal) pot have signifigantly allowed larger yield.
i would think so that sounds like a setup that would yield more than that as long as the plants healthy with its nutrients it depends on the strain too sometimes
i plan to try 5-10 outdoor plants this year as well. if the soil space is the main problem ( i somewhat doubt tho), then they should be nice girlies PS: they will be my own lowryder/sacra fresca hybrid (1st gen) so im expecting heavily varied results.
