To my delight I have discovered a local natural food store that sells Bronners products. They only had Eucalyptus and Peppermint but they had both liquid and bars. I know that you have to dilute the liquid quite heavily but how about the bar? Aside from that question which do you prefer Bar or Liquid?

Well when I use the tea tree liquid i'll fill up a big cup with water and a small squirt of soap and just pour it on a couple of times. When I use the almond bar i got, I lather up my hands and just kinda run my hands over my hair forwards and backwards a couple times. No preference either way!

i would say liquid. it's cleaner, and lasts longer because as soaringeagle said, you dilute it so much.

you should have a voting option for both, hehe. But lately, I've been washing with just baking soda....to me it seems to do a much better job than Bronners! You should try it out if you haven't already...

I can't find Bronners here in Canada. I did buy Dr. Woods with organic Shea butter once, peppermint kind. It did well and was fairly cheap. Other than that I use K-Boy organic shampoo (peppermint, once again) since it's already pretty well diluted. I like their bar too, it lathers a lot better.

i have had a horrible experience with the bar soap. the bar soap left a lot of residue around my scalp, and i rinse really well. Use the liquid because you need to dilute it.

I've been using both, though lately been using the bar more just because its easy to grab and lather up.

Liquids less eco friendly, being in a plastic bottle 'n' all.

uummmm, I would vote for all three lol. I sometimes use either the bar or liquid, or sometimes use baking soda....it depends.

It's pretty common to get refills here.
I bought a half gallon in 2003. I'm about half through. my dilution ratio is fairly high.
One bottle in five years is pretty good (the older bottle holds the dilute mix).

    i like the bar :)
just dont put it directly on your dreads, itll leave lots of residue.
lather up your hands, then wash hair....it works like a charm :)

The bottle is 100% post-consumer recycled.
