ah join the club my man :)

well, if you ever want to work something out I'm in the UK near London and am also looking to travel and stuff like that! It can be tricky to work out exactly what to do, just go for whatever feels best, it's perhaps better not to overthink and stuff, as life seems more fun when it's simple hehe. Just make sure you live it to the full and enjoy it!

Drop me a line if you want :)

YOu could get a job for a year, live at home, save money, make plans. If you are just going to travel within your country, you could get a tent or think about motel weekly rentals. You could plan your travels city by city and firgure out via internet how much it would cost to stay there for days or week. Figure out relatives, maybe make friends online. You could just work your tail off for the next year as many jobs as possible and maybe even meet someone to go with you. The point is, if that is what you want to do, do it- you still have plenty of time to try something else if it doesn't work out.

Save up a little money to start and just do it. Pick a place and just go.

that's what I'm doing in a couple months. I'll have about $1000 saved up and I'm going down to Mexico, with no intention of coming back to the US unless it's for a visit.

    that is good advice, imo.
you could always get hired onto a traveling sales crew... that's easy.
knowing ahead of time where local churches, homeless shelters, food kitchens, etc can really, help. they will assist you with food, shelter, and most importantly job assistance.
just do some research and make plans, and don't be afraid.
leaving may be hard or scary at first, but big things require big leaps...
    be safe, and have fun:D
    peace
