How easy is it to get?

When I can I was thinking about moving to California.... But I want to know, can I really just say "Hey, I have ________. Can I get medical?" If so what should I say and can I just go to one of the places in the back of High Times and get bud?

 

Welcome to California.
If you're sick, you need to go to a doctor and get a note. Keep that note with you and show it when you go to one of the dispensaries. They will check! Its more complicated, but that's the basics. Two things, you're 16 and I don't know if you are allowed to get a note. The other thing is, if you aren't sick, faking illness to get herb isn't helping the cause of getting medicine to people that are really sick.

I am disabled. weed helps me take less pills.

To see a doctor its $90 $150 a visit (that's the lowest to highest I see or heard a doctor charge.)

Bring medical records from main doctor.

After he OKs you then you go to local hospital pay either a disabled price $55 for statewide card or non disabled is $100-$110 this was for SF hospital.

But then again there's doctors out there for the money and dont follow protocol, if I had to guess. Which hurts program with fake persons.

In the end the sick may suffer .

 

Medical marijuana isn't hard to get in California. Just look at all the college kids who have cards.

 

there are some bogus doctors giving it out to just about anyone that claims pain. but 99.9% need written proof from a hospital in your medical record that you are in true pain. Cancer, AIDS...

the bogus doctors defeat the purpose of the law (even though it should be legal to begin with) Ive heard stories of some dispenseries refusing service to people who have there note from certain doctors.

 

First get a doctor they online, they going to want to see your medical records

Others don't care just want money you can get from what I hear just harder.

Yes you don't need to be disabled to get it, just a real illness!

After I got my doctor stuff I went to general hospital paid the disabled money price after all I am disabled 9 yrs now

They will send out in mail or hand to you when if you ask to pick up

BTW I noticed that the local hospitals have statewide cards good around all of Cali don't by a month to month card or a card good for only 1 city

As always don't brag your not sick because it will make it harder on clubs.

I found a good club that sells $25-$60 an 8th of weed.

They sell to me for top grade $60 an 8th instead for $45

Not all clubs are good.

I left last club because they did not give price cut when you get Oz or half OZ .

Now if I want best grade of OZ I pay $360-$380 purple very good and taste yummy

I was willing to pay $400 but they were nice all the time. Still $360-$380 very decent price.

A lot of time I get free joints and if the clubs is no good just pass up 900 clubs in Cali 400 legal.

Once they know you well and see what you spend they will start to discount .

^yes. but I think you have to have some paper displayed on site (at least in colorado you do).

 

Yes you can grown own but last I hear and read you must post the state codes up and amount and other things. I an not up on it I get the top weed from club alot cheaper other wise I would try. Its hard to grow in doors if not down right like hydro. Good luck

 

ive been wondering... ive had scoliosis now for quite some time, but its not my major issue. my main problem is about 15 years ago i fell about 13 feet on a rock back first and now have a cruncing & grinding scapula (i think). i cant hold my right and above my head for long espically holding something b4 it feels like i have a knife in my back. im not exactly shure who to see about getting it doccumentd as ive had docs say nothings wrong, but yet the pain is unbarable. when sitting i HAVE to lean against something else it starts hurting.

i guess im just tryin to figure out what all i have to do, etc. im currently in Virginia, but im headed out to oregon area this summer.

any help, ideas, etc?

 

If you are having that much pain other doctors should be consulted. They do make mistakes and misdiagnose things.

 

im going to go see a chiropractor this week. i found one local who will take xrays, etc. and i know docs that have had me stand in very wierd ways just to make the xray look like im fine. hopefully this visit will be better than all the rest.

 

Start seeing a primary doc. Get your status, illness, etc. om file after a few months of that see a doc for the card. I have to renew mine every year at $150. I get a card with my picture on it, helps when I'm travelling at diff clubs through the state, it costs 10 dollars more for the pic so $160 out the door.

 

In Calif. every county is different and so it depends on where you live. I grow.........indoors and out. I have my physicans' recommendation for medicial MJ. In my county I don't post anything, but I always have my "recommendation" handy. A guy (in this county) tried to open a cannabis shop and the county decided that they would have a medicial cannabis card and we could register and pay $150 for it a year. This is so dumb. I don't think anyone registered with them and the small town he tried to open a store in had a fit and he never got it off the ground. I'll be darned if I'm giving the DA and Health Dept a $150 when I don't need to. If I want to buy legally then I have to drive to Bakersfield, which is over 150 miles away. I just grow my own organic and save over $600 a month that I would put out in pot alone, not to mention gas money.

 

Some doctors do not even require medical records from your primary care doc. Also you are given the ability to grow, but i believe it is still very possible to be busted. Which would be years in prison, so its a pretty big risk to try something like that!

I live in SF and 70 percent of the folks at the cannibus clubs are folks that wouldn't fall into medical necessity. These are folks that have no "real" reason for the doctor to prescribe them MJ, but if you pay them (the docs) 90 bucks they will. A lot of folks argue that this will ruin the whole MM system, but I believe it's just a step towards (hopefully) future legalization. I do suffer from from anxiety, depression and have a herniated disc, but I truly could get by without a MJ prescription. I'm glad though that I do qualify (most do) but sometimes it's hilarious seeing just a bunch of young kids in the club. I'm sure they're all suffering from something. I think it's called life. But, were mostly good people so I don't mind when anyone gets a MM card as long as they don't take too long in line (look at every single type of weed under a magnifying glass and asking 39 questions about the history of MJ) when i'm trying to get some MJ behind them. "Let's get fucking going." It's all very, very good so just pick something for christ sake. I smoked for about 25 years before ever knowing the difference between an Indica and a Sativa before i was educated so perhaps i should slow my roll. Who freaking knows? Certainly i do not.
