dreadpile (big pic heavy)

    well as most of yas know been gettin closer to 18 years now just lettin em do theyre thing.. been finding a whole bunch that are like the thinnist finist roots to long twisted thick n frayed fuzzy n furry knotty lumpy twisty turny loopy crazy flat and forked i was tryin to get a pic of just a few of the babies and especialuy 1 so thin its barely therre..but kept getttin lost in the rest so figured id just make a pile for yas...
    figured if i rearanged em enough yad get a lil glipmpse of most of em at least tho...ok..so..on with the pics

    ok in that u can see definately got some super thin ones with crazy tips theyre lil fuzzy lately cause was doin nothin but deep cleanse last 2 months

    as ya can see theyre not all thin but got some pretty thick ones..just...got alot...
    & new 1's poppin up all the time

    Your dreads are amazing! I was in awe when I first saw them. I would think that at that length, they'd be quite annoying. I don't have dreads, though, so I don't know how they feel. I really like the combination of thick and thin, too.

    i dont get annoyed easy..lol i get tangled alot..they get stepped on too but nah nuthin gets annoying...

    god, aren't they heavy as shit? :) eagle, you gots the bestest dreads around! you must have really thick hair, cause that's a lotta knots on top of your head lol! wish mine were as pretty....

    god damn! i'm so jealous :p

    what do you do to maintain those? do you crochet at all? do you palm roll? i know you're a big advocate of the natural method, but i wasn't sure what that entails.

    Wow eagle, you have some of the longest locks I've EVER seen. Right up there with those pictures of Sihks (or is it Sadhus?) in India! I have all kinds of questions for you lol....do you think you'll ever cut them? How often do you wash them/ get them wet? And do you have any funny stories to tell about them?

    They're so fab!

    I have some shocks of hair that have appeared, too! I wondered if the hair would make it's way into an existing dread or form one of it's own. We'll see!

    I like the pillow idea, Eagle!

    wow ok maintanance..nothing at all except ripping/seperating
    wash em weekly
    donty palm roll would never crochet
    nah would never cut em but i have lost 8 inches to 2 feet off many from draggin

    draggins no big deal u dont even notice but stepped on well can stop ya in youir tracks..lol
