Why is it that I get the most intelligent conversation with someone else when they are stoned?

Just a note: I did not type that wrong. Generally I've had better conversations with stoners, but I am asking why I get such intelligence in a conversation when the other party is stoned.

we have two brains, man. isn't that awesome.... two massive cpu's for different things.

Not really sure why it is so, but it is great that it is so. The best discussion I've ever had over philosophy was when everyone present was high.

 

I find it very difficult to form complex logical chains when I'm high. But I am able to access a deeper reservoir of wit than I'm normally privy too, so I guess it balances out...

 

I find that I am a lot more logical when high. Seemingly unconnected ideas become connected; it's a logical chain of its own.

THC is also a stimulant so I guess your brain could be firing more rapidly than usual - My body feels 'dumb' but my brain feels like its having a workout.

My friends never can tell whether or not I am high over aim.

I had the best conversations of my life while high... you are a lot more open to revealing yourself when you're high, so it only makes sense.

 

That's true, I'm definitely more open when I'm high. I think it's a combination of being high, and of thinking, "Fuck it; you're high. Just say it!"

I am more reserved than the average person normally though.

 

THC breaks down mental barriers and allows us to think outside the box, even moreso than usual.

 

I get pretty philosophical when high but my overall ability to hold a decent conversation is pretty beat.

the distinction between the two hemispheres of the brain really ain't as dramatic as its been made out to be. yeah sure thc enhances creativity... but its not like there's a special receptor that gets the THC and says GO LEFT! GO LEFT DAMN YOU THE CREATIVE SIDDDDE!
