Mulch in fornt of my house

    soo i just got home form school and i was walkin past and i see a mushroom in the mulch where the plants are... its brown thick stem, not tall, has white cracks on cap, and it looks like the stem might not be hollow i havent touched it yet. im going to take a picture soon to post so you guys can help ID it.

    We're gonna need a better description than that. You should go ahead and pick one and get a print. Make sure to get good pics of it before you pick it, get a good close-up of the cap, one of the gills and one of the stem.

    Then leave it alone. If it is psychoactive and you pick it, you're not gonna find anymore.

    looks like a bolete of some sort but that is just vague speculation, one thing i can assure u it is definately not a psilocybe

    i live in bushkill, pennsylvania :D its been warm up here with rain latley.

    it might be Gymnopilus junonius cuz they grow in wood chips in shade
