The collective conscious must be true because I thought the OP's idea earlier today, before ever reading this thread. So interesting how two people that never met each other before would come up with the same idea.

I think replayers version may be true, and that isn't wishful thinking. It just makes more sense to me. Why would nature provide such a thing? It just seems too convenient... If there is a part of us that survives death, then that eternity feeling may be caused by the part of us moving at the speed of light, where time stops. Supposedly, DMT is released during birth and after death... Perhaps DMT acts a portal of sorts to one dimension to another. So the whole "waking from a never ending stream of dreams" seems a lot more plausible.

2 Lsd Asap: it was our teacher, who had told us, as I've mentioned. I don't know where he got that info. I think, if it's true, it may concern only those who do a lot of Lsd. Besides, the process of passing away doesn't last long, so there's no need to worry. It's more awful to die from a long term disease suffering from pain. / No, I haven't tried it :) Not yet.

I know it's been said many times before, but what if life is just a dream? A trip, or some type of story to a higher being?

I mean think about it, if you watch a movie, play a story based video game, read a book, or anything involving a story, you are given a character that is thrown into a life, while living towards the future, you learn about his/her past at the same time. I mean what if the life we our known to live in, really has only just started, and the idea of history is just a form of the story to make you believe your surroundings are true. If it were all just an illusion and "life" so to speak is just a method of learning for your higher being. And if you were to continue all these concepts could be simply imaginary, the idea of age, your senses. What if EVERYTHING were false?

"Death is something we are all too afraid to question." "There are two ways you can trip. There is a good trip or a bad trip."

I'd be careful of definitive global statements like these. Many people have gone deep into the question of death and are well-acquainted with the issues. And of course there are many ways to trip. But I dig your conclusions, except for the "never" parts. How about endeavor to not be judgmental or to be more mindful. Or like Aldous Huxley said when someone asked, Mr. Huxley, what should we do? and he answered, "Be a little kinder to one another."

    "tripping" is a verb

this post is from 2008...but i still had to say it

also, the whole bit about DMT in your brain is a theory. an untested one. not like the theory of evolution.

If your fascinated by death, and truly not afraid of it, I think a trip about death could actually be a good trip. Maybe a little dark, but interesting none the less.

    Hmm....
So where's this theory that may change my life forever?
All I read was a restatement of facts and speculations that have been said countless times before.

Maybe our creator learned to live for all three.

This is surely one of the most inspiring reads on the internet. This write up will change peoples lives, as it already has mine. Thank you, and from the bottom of my heart, I love you.

    Psychedelics kill you

For there to be a 'you' there must be a 'not-you'. When done properly and in large enough doses, psychedelics eliminate that boundary, putting an end to the you for a period of time. If the 'you' is located in a particular time (which we call now) and in a particular space consisting of the experiential reference point, then the experience from psychedelics allows access to what lies outside those boundaries - infinite time and space.
