Green Dragon(best recipe i have found)

i stumbled apon this the other day while looking for a recipe to make candy with marijuana... i believe this is probably the best green dragon recipe i have found.. why? because most of you are under 21 and buying extracts from the grocery store is legal

here is a recipe for rock candy... with these two recipes you can make cannabis rock candy..
1. Start a pot of water boiling on the stove.
2. Tie a piece of string around the middle of the pencil/stick/butter knife. The string should be long enough so that when the pencil is placed over the top of the glass, the string will come up just short of the bottom.
3. Wet the string with a little water and roll it in the sugar. Put the paper clip on the end of the string to act as a weight and help the string stay straight. Lay the stick over the top of the glass jar so that the string hangs down inside the jar, but not touching the bottom of the jar.
4. When the water has started boiling, remove it from the heat and let the water settle.
5. Stir in the sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Continue adding sugar until it starts collecting at the bottom of the pot and won't dissolve even when you stir. This will take a while and a good bit of sugar but not too much.
6. If you want to add flavoring or color, stir it in now. add greendragon from recipe above here
7. Pour the sugar solution into the glass until it is about 1" from the top.
8. Place the pencil over the jar and allow the string to dangle into the solution. Don't let the string settle on the bottom or sides of the glass.
9. Place the glass somewhere that it can sit for a while undisturbed (but do not refrigerate it). After a day or so, you should be seeing crystal growth on the string.
10. Leave the string in the solution until the crystals are big enough for you or have completely stopped growing.
11. Remove the string from the glass and let dry.
12. After you let dry please wait until crystal is formed.

 

i think iv read that page before, and skimming it again reminded me... has anyone ever tried decarboxylation? i sorta gave it a shot in a toaster oven for a bit like some instructions i found... but my friends started bitching at me saying i was going to ruin the batch, so i proceeded to make the brownies... the 2 minutes on high in the microwave seems like a good idea, anyone had personal experience with this?

 

Yeah, the decarb works, depending on your amount the times to use change. Ive noticed completely different effects between heating the weed before I extract the canabinoids versus not heating it. I also beleive it gives you some more time before the weed starts burning.

 

very interesting. typically when i make baked goods i use weed that has already been vaporized in my vaporizer. i save up about 1-1.5 oz of it and then extract it in everclear, then put the resulting thc oil in butter for brownies. this weed has already probably been decarb'ed in the vape, the results of the batch are great. did you do decarb in the microwave or in an oven?

 

I've made rock candy before but never ganja rock candy. I must try this!

I personally have not tried this.. but it all does make sense... and should work.. but i have never made rock candy.. how much of the sugar solution usually gets tossed? because i wonder how much of the thc tincture(extract) will be turned into candy and how much would be wasted

 

this quote makes no sense... fruit extracts are 90% alcohol.. only alcohol that is this strong is REAL everclear.. not every state has the 180proof everclear... some states dont even have 151proof.. but every state has extracts.. they are used in cooking/baking regularly... plus.. its something that can be found in the right parents kitchen if they do a lot of baking.. and you dont need to be 21 to buy it... so for REAL people.. and most of the REAL people within these forums being under 21.. its probably the best alternative out there..
