Ebonics was a way to further keep minorities down. Make prominent blacks support and lobby for it. Make the minority masses feel it's in there best interest AND on the verge of becoming socially acceptable. Watch them all undereducate themselves and suffer the consequences. What a way to bring power to the white man.
It's already an accepted language. Academically and culturally. And I think a language develops from both a past and present conditions.
That's so far from accurate it's laughable. Walk into an interview for a Fortune 500 company speaking ebonics. I bet the next Fortune 500 company doesn't even call about your resume.
It's poor english.I had a friend from Georgia that used to make fun of the way blacks talk.I asked him where exactly did he think they learned english.Shut him up when he thought about it.
I hate when i hear black people talk their nonsence. Take some fucking pride in being a somewhat intelligent life form and learn to speak properly.
i don't like it and i don't hate it. although i make fun of it by using it every once in a while. =p i think it promotes creativity... =p
Creativity? Naw. I think it promotes laziness and an underlying agenda to discredit and inhibit much of this countries impoverished youth later in life.
