Mail or PO

hey, I was wondering before swim wasted money on a P.O. box what the differences (if any) were there in legal consequences from sending a "package" to your home address and a P.O. box?

is it a federal offence to get it sent to your home? mail fraud? How about the likelyhood or ability for prosecution from a P.O. box

(o and i dont mean a real po box as in at the post office thats just dumb, i mean like UPS)

Receiving illegal package is illegal regardless of where it's mailed to.

 

A p.o box can be safer if you keep it in another name not linked to yourself. Even better if the p.o box service has a 24hour entrance.

 

A local post office has a poster of allowable objects that can be sent through the mail. It had three (or four) rows of allowable objects, the last of which included what seemed like OTC drugs, giving in to suggestion. The bottom row had a list of all prohibited objects, which included hazardous chemicals like ammonia and gasoline. So I guess if it is nothing immediately deadly/harmful then I believe LE turn the other cheek.

 

if you get a mailbox at the US post office they wont accept packages sent by UPS, FedEx, etc.

But you can get mailboxes (at a much higher price) at the UPS store, which accepts packages from all the shipping companies.. also to get mailboxes you normally have to show two forms of identification

also when the ups store accepts a package for you, it has to go to the name that is registered on the mailbox.. you cant send to bob smith if the box is registered to john brown

 

Most people who go the PO box route are using fake I.D.'s at 24 hour boxes and letting packages sit for weeks before picking them up wearing gloves and disguises, the reasoning being that it would be just too expensive to watch a box 24/7 for weeks on end, and if it is registered with fake information there is no other way to track who is getting shit sent to it other than video surveilance or lifting prints, which would be nearly impossible if someone is using a disguise and wearing gloves.

go with the shadiest shittiest box company in the most run down part of your area, mom and pop ones that have no security systems set up (like cameras) and where they wont inspect your ID as much because they don't really give a shit

 

I was also unaware there were other companies selling boxes. Can you suggest some 24hr names? or what I should look under in yellowpages for the shithole you speak of?

 

i just got a regular "medium" box from the ups store in my name...nothing to worry about if ur getting under 1 hundred bars or under a gram of 2-cx...just kilos of coke through the mail is what u gotta worry about...

 

If the package is seized by customs do any of these companies re ship at free or reduced cost?

Had an HGH company in China that always tracked shipments and reshipped for free which was nice.

The FDA even called me once to tell me they were trashing it and we go into a big political argument about bush and big pharma,,,Of course I lost the argument and never saw the package but it was reshipped and arrived 3 weeks later no problem...

Ya just never know.

Be nice if RC companies did that too.

 

Never mail suspicious/illegal items to your own place. Change up your PO boxes after a few times & make sure none of it leaks back to you

 

Thanks to new, recently enacted Homeland Security directives...It's become very difficult now to get a private box or a USPS box with fake ID. You'll need 2 forms of ID that match ....and credit cards do not count. In addition to your driver's license they'll usually ask for an automobile registration or insurance card, a utility bill...something that confirms the info on your DL.

 

yeah.. i'm pretty sure a lot of ppl get RCs sent to their house w/o anything happening.. i think everyone is being a little too paranoid.. so what you had a research chem sent to your house.. i'm sure you're really gunna get arrested for that

 

I agree that some are way too paranoid... especially if all you are doing is ordering small amounts of grey area chems here and there.

However, things could change at any time... or you could be extremely unlucky, get caught and then be made an example of by the government.

Also, I realize all this paranoia is for a DAMN good reason...

Throughout history people have died fighting for freedom. Are you willing to give up yours just for a gram of 2c-whatever?

how many people has it happened to? i would like to know how many people have been arrested for importing 5 grams or under of a research chemical
