Can sudafed give you a false positive for amphetamine? My nephew had a drug test today and told us that he tested positive for amphetamine and all he had taken was sudafed. wtf?
damn, that sucks for the god, was it court ordered drug test or pre-employment? cuz it would suck to go to jail over sudafed!
It was court ordered. He has to get a 5 panel drug test twice a week and when he went in this morning, he had a positive result, so they sent him down the street to an actual dr.'s office to piss in a cup there so it could be sent to a lab.
If he fails because of pseudoephedrine, then wow. There's no way that can happen. They'll figure it out eventually with more advanced equipment. Amphetamine does not produce all of the same metabolites.
