haha I saw Cannibal Corpse live like 3 or so years ago, they were fucking awesome. I also saw GWAR at the same show...it was pretty intense

 

I think Shining's got Cannibal Corpse beat. Self mutilation on stage is something I'd consider far more extreme than writing about shoving bits of a broken window up a girl's butt.

 

I think most any goregrind band trumps Cannibal Corpse in the area of "wtf?"

Some spanish metal band decided it'd be a good idea to kill and bury half their members in a shallow grave, supposedly something satanic.

 

Well if we're going by their personal life's and not just lyrical themes I'd say Mayhem is pretty high up on the list

A lot of shit has gone down with the members of that band...

 

I think they're "disturbing" because their agenda is to destroy humanistic morality. They are natural selection, the feral predator, death on the wind, not happy good feelings and hatin' on your parents like Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, etc.

For disturbing gore, try Repulsion, Dead Infection, Blood or Carcass!

I read an interview with Euronymous from Mayhem once and he said he never fucks a women in the pussy only the ass. They asked me why and he said well it is a sin to waste the seed right, so what greater sin then to dump it into the human sewer.

Mayham were crazy, it was more then music to them, it was a life. I had always heard that Dead, their first singer only killed himself because he thought black metal has become too mainstream and thus felt he had no reason to live.

 

I heard the Mayhem guy that killed himself slit his wrists and shot himself with a shotgun. A bandmember then found him, and went and got a camera and took photos of the corpse in various positions. Apparently the photos were stolen and one of them was later used as the cover of a bootleg album.

I have no idea how true it is because well, I dont wanna see that shit so I never looked for them. But if it is true then god damn :O

And as for Varg murdering Euronymous, on burzum.org there's a thing he wrote detailing what happened, and all I can say is wow. The way he describes stabbing him in the forehead and the knife getting stuck then him pulling it out and the body falling down stairs. He also says about how Euronymous deserved to die for being a coward and shit. It's pretty intense.

Ugh so I finally saw the pic of Dead's suicide

Nasty stuff. Altho the last time I saw a pic of a dead person (It was some guy with a knife stuck in his head slumped up against the wall with blood everywhere) I felt all sick inside and had a weird tingly feeling. That was a year or two ago.

Today seeing Dead's lifeless corpse with slit wrists & throat and a shotgun wound to the head at first I thought "Ohh fuck so THATs the picture" but beyond that felt no disgust or revolt. Sigh, I'm becoming more desensitised

however: im still too scared to click that profanatica link seeing as how its just a jpg. Mind describing the picture so I dont see something that will REALLY scar me for life?

 

I'd say mayhem have profanatica beat man, they're just showing their gear with face paint on.

It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Mayhem to wear authentic pig heads on stage or, to at least have one fixed to a stake.

Exhumed!!! They're astonishing in their ability to construct music with absolutely no hint of melody. In fact, they're anti-music. Good band though. CC are ace too. Dunno why I like that stuffe, but I do.
