It just seems like everyone including your family and friends have the wrong idea of the streets you know. I've been living off the streets for a while. Not it came down to the choice of me serving 3 years in state prison, going on the run and living the street life, or joining the military. And I know plan c is the best, but some people dont understand how hard it really is when your in love with the streets. There are the people who sell on the streets and show off then there are the people who actually live off the streets and have love for the streets. And its a hard thought system for me... :/ Any ideas.

"Real niggas aint tryin to get in the streets, they tryin to get out. Feel me?"

That says it all. Wish I could remember what song it's from. I've ran the streets a good portion of my adult life. At times I've said the same, but the truth is it's a dream for most. To most people "gangbanging" isn't an opportunity, it's a trap. Those who think it's an opportunity haven't fallen into the trap, yet. Same thing with this. It's an illusion of freedom.

Selling drugs is the same thing. It's a fantasy for most. The dream of becoming a king pin or something similar. I've known one man to make it BIG BIG in that life. It also cost him 5 years of his life when it was all said and done. For him, the 5 years was worth it, and when he's ready to retire, he's got everything he'll need. He was also smart enough to stop even when the money was coming in faster than he could count it.

I'm not going to say you don't know what you're talking about, but I am going to say that I think your thought process is off and it's time to wake up and think a bit more realistic and long term.

The streets run in the exact same way your veins do. Nothing is equal and not everyone lives.

    It kinda makes sense.

and anyways selling drugs isnt always a fantasy you cant have. sometimes all you really want you can have and that can be great right there... without ever having a desire to go bigger n bigger .but yeah getting caught sucks. i would never sell drugs aggain.

Thats the exact situation I'm in. The streets have trapped me and I cant get out. I got my sayings I always refer to out on the street.

"Down here in the south where everythings fucked up. Every other month the dope prices going up. Shit down here they 16 and 17 and done going fed."

"I dont know if this dope game worth going fed, but I know one thing, its where the mother fucking moneys at."

Sure lets sell drugs.......it may be better than a 9to5 but atleast when you make things HAPPEN in a 9 to 5 you feel better you've accomplished something without costing people thier lives. most of the time you can't get arrested doing a 9 to 5, you are living a DREAM, that WILL turn into a nightmare.
