Interesting. The next time I scratch a swastika on a hummer I'll put in a little ELF, too.

But how can you support the actions of a non-uniform disconnected group? You might support some actions, and be disgusted at others. Impossible to truly support IMO.

I support some of their tactics. The liberation of animals (as in, freeing and re-homing them from test labs/ factory farms) but not the intimidation tactics used by certain cells. These end up being counterproductive. With the ELF, I support the logging prevention tactics they use, such as spiking trees (and placing warnings on them) but not the random building burning, which is again counterproductive.

It's like the Black Bloc Anarchist Groups, I support them when they come to people's aid/ fight back Neo-Nazis. But not when they cause destruction of non-corporate property.

I'm sorta for this...but we can't get too violent. That ruins things and makes it more complicated. I think peaceful protesting(with maybe some secret sabotaging) is the best solution.

I do not believe in breaking the law but I know that the ALF has brought to the attention of the general public, many atrocities such as 'Porton Down' millitary establishment where they test machine guns on cows & other things I don't want to describe.
They give Vivisectors a hard time like throwing red paint on their cars. Some of the more extreme things such as kidnapping are not supported by the Animal Rights movement & is totally counter-productive,& simply criminal.
I think PETA are doing some important exposures of animal atrocities.

Nothing makes more sense than using violence as an argument for non-violence.

It's a bit like sex for virginity, right?
