No. If someone's having a bad trip, you should give them kind words, soft lighting, soft music and an open ear/mind. If it's a direct result of taking too much, 20 mg or so of Valium, 2 mg of Xanax or 2 mg of Klonopin should help, but they'll still need the things listed above. A bad trip should be worked through, not aborted.
absolutely correct 36 one of the most amazing things i find is that people who have spent thousands of dollars going to some rich fuckin school for years of their life think that the best thing to do to someone tripping on acid is give them thorazine or if their on mushrooms theyll pump their stomach. wat a bunch of sick conceited arrogant fucks. imagine having a tube shoved down ur throat while in the depths of the worst trip uve ever had. thorazine in my opinion is far worse for u nuerochemically than lsd is in the first place i wouldnt doubt it if every doctor practicing these techniques is just doing so to teach these druggies a lesson. the best thing for someone in such a fragile state of mind is love, compassion, patience, and touch ive been pulled out of the vortex of negativity many a time by nothing more than a friends warm touch. when words are just gobbledygook and faces are melting in front of u a warm touch reminds that u r alive in all this beautiful madness and as much hate their is to this world rite now in tis moment someone loves me enough to reach out and touch me. the tripping experience cannot be remedy w/ alcohol or other drugs b/c the experience is so much more than doping urself up on pleasure, tripping is more about growing and learning rather than shoving euphoria down ur throat. the only substances that should be used is benzos and even those should b a last resort if u dont understand how to calm down someone in that state of mind dont just try feeding them pills, if u cant b compassionate and caring enough to help them out by connecting as one human to another than u shouldnt b giving them drugs in the first place
