First time salvia experience?

My friends and I decided to try some 7x Salvia today. Well we were all a little nervous but ended up doing it. We split a gram 4 ways and went to town. We smoked it out of a homemade bong (thats works well) and packed the bowl. We all smoked but no own hallucinated. I felt almost as if I was high, like from marijuana but no hallucinations...Is this common?

 

When you smoke it, make sure while you are inhaling the hit you are holding the flame to the salvia the whole time, it helps using a torch lighter, since the flame goes straight regardless of which way the lighter is(so if its upside down to light the bowl, the flame wont go upwards)

as said, hold the flame to it the whole time, you want it as hot as you can get it, get as big of a hit as you can stand and count to 30 seconds before exhaling and taking another hit (the longer you hold it the better, if you cant hold it for 30, hold it as long as you can, if you can hold it longer, go for it)

try taking hits one at a time, if there three people, instead of loading a bowl, put enough for two hits, try to get them both before you disconnect completely, and then have one of them take the bong or pipe away (so you dont break the damn thing which i have watched happen twice before)

after 5 minutes or so, when you are at least starting to be back, the next person then puts enough for two hits and does the same, etc.

that way you waste less and everyone will have at least one person not tripping to keep them from trying to get up or something

its VERY unlikely that anyone will stab themselves or jump out of a window or anything, but i know from experience that if you flip your shit and freak and try to run to another room thinking it feels more safe or comfortable you will most likely fall.... and hard

try keeping the lights slightly dim, and the noise low, usually the more distractions there are the more likely youll be terrified by the shit going on in YOUR reality, and to everyone else, you may just be staring at a speaker with your eyes twitching around but to you, you may be in a world of hell for what seems like forever

i do want to say this though, you may have an awesome trip, you may have a horrible trip, but depending on the mindset you have going into it and out of it it can be positive regardless of whether it is good or bad experience

i fully agree. it will take about 20-30 seonds to hit you at full force sometimes, and if your not ready for it you may drop whatever you are holding.

as for falling down, i wouldnt agree with that, however trying to move around under salvias influence is not overly safe or reccomended. watch out if you take the hit standing up...

 

Ok, well I just ordered 10 grams of 5x salvia from BBB.com. I'll let you guys know how that is when I get it. Im really looking forward to it

 

in future, dont get anything less than 10X, cuz it means more plant must be burnt.

for reference: 1g of 20X strenght is usually good for 6-8 good hits

 

the 10x from Bouncing Bear Botanicals is normaly good for about 10 hits for me, couldnt imagine hitting 1/6 a gram of 20x

 

thats pretty good then. when i say 6-8 tho, i mean thats where youll actually have open eye hallucinations and a very intense mind-rape.

 

yeah with 1/10 of 10x my arms turned into my bedspread material then my whole life as a knew it was being folded up into a box =p it was pretty intense

 

i don't know... you probably got some bunnko salvia, cuz even 5x hits me like a train...

take a monster hit and hold it in as long as possible then try to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. if you can do it, the salvia is bunk.

 

hell wouldnt make a sandwich on it. when i try walking on salvia, i look like im hitler-walking...

 

Ok, I got my 5x and the first time I smoked it, I only felt like a marijuana high, but it kinda felt like the room was closing into like a black hole kind of thing... Then I smoked it again and I felt it. I suddenly became extremely confused and forgot where I was and who was with me, but at the same time still kind of knew what was going (hard to explain.) It felt as if I were in some underground train track or something like it and each limb of my body had a different task in moving the train carts passing by, however I did not hallucinate. This all may sound very odd, but all made sense during the "trip." Throughout the "trip" I kept on thinking "this isnt what salvia should feel like. I don't know how much I like salvia but I'm going to keep at it until I feel something that I like.

Does anyone else only feeling stuff and not see things?

 

My first(and so far only time) was pretty nuts, i took a huge hit of 20X and before i even blew it out i an expierence like none other, indescribable. It was awsome yet very scary.

When i came out of the trip i was unable to communicate with anyway for like 1 min, i was just walking around making random gestures. lol

 

well my guess would be, you probably need a stronger dose.

yea man, my first hit was on some 120atomiX purple stick, and that was stooopid of me. The only reason I got such good shit was cause I had alot of money to blow. I couldn't even hold it in after 15 secons because my brain was fried-KFC style. I just sat back I my chair and watched everything turn blue, then red, then green. The weirdest thing that happened though, was everyone was calling me "dawg" and thats all the tv was saying on EVERY channel. Dawg, dawg, dawg. I just freaked. The next weekend I had a lifechanging experience. I don't remember it though, but it changed my life.
