I could have be at the Roger Waters concert right now

I am so pissed. The concert would have been awesome, he is only doing 4 shows in the us and one happens to be near me. Anybody and everybody is going but I have an exam tomorrow at 8 and I need to put alot of work in. Who the hell puts an exam on saturday? I am about to say fuck it and go to the show.

 

Might be worth the experience.
Then again....the test sounds important.

are u talkin bout the one in dallas? my friends are theeir but me and my other friend who are the biggest pink floyd fans around (collected every cd, my wallas are covered in floyd posters, so on and so forth) are not able to go. the kids who are goin couldnt even collectively name 15 pink floyd songs. o well at least its just roger and not the whole gang still wouldva loved to been there. my friend said they were given out free posters and he got me one. he also got me a shirt.

 

if you're 15 you can't say you're the biggest floyd fan. i fucking love floyd but i have nothing on my uncle.

 

i'd fake some type of illness and phone an administrator the night before to let them know i couldn't make it, then i'd just go to the show and make up the exam on whatever date they gave me. if they ask to have you come in to prove you're sick, do something to make yourself temporarily sick. drink a bottle of robotussin and that should make you appear pretty ill. if needed, and you really wanna push it to the limit, buy a bottle of ipecac to take with you and drink it right before you go in. that way you should end up having to actually throw up while you're in the meeting. i dunno if your up to that tho. call me crazy, but if i really wanted a day out of school, i drank ipecac a few times here and there to get out of it. once i was actually at school, it was first or second period, and i was like "shit i wanna go home" so i cut my next class and walked to a pharmacy to get ipecac and drank it on the way back. i puked in the nurses office for a good 5 minutes or so and then it was off to home i went lol.

as crazy as people might say i am for doing that, and as true as it may be, if someone wasn't willing to go through it so they could go to a Roger Waters concert then i would have to say "you, my friend, are the crazy one." =]

my friend just gave me an update. he said there was a lotta drugs (obvisiously) and people were being pretty open with it. he and my other friend were smoking a joint when a security started yelling at them, then he took the joint and started smoking it and left with it. im so pissed i wasnt there...

 

I saw waters a few years back in albany twas a great show.

 

i wanted to go see him a couple years ago when he came to Pittsburgh, but i never got the chance.

you should def. of skipped your test to go :tongue:

 

idk i guess it would be cool to see him in concert but i wish i was alive to actually see pink floyd...thatd be way better
