My good buddy up north, about 2 hours from me, is going to pick up some morphine tomorrow. It's $15 per pill, and he doesn't know how much mg they are. But he was told by someone that you will need two. I'm not really asking what you guys think the dose might be, however if you have any ideas, I would love to hear them. Anyways. I've done Oxycodone pretty frequently, and I've done Hydrocodone only twice, and I haven't done any opiates for a good two or three months. So the thought of some sounds quite nice I've heard alot of different things about morphine. Some say that its weaker than oxy, other say its the same, and others say its stronger. But most people tell me it's slightly weaker. Most of the reports of people using morphine on Erowid seem to take around 60 mg or so, and it appears that morphine makes you more nausous than oxy. I've also read that 120 mg is the fatal dose, and 100 is the toxic dose. Oh and we are planning on dissolving the pill (or two) in a glass of water until its dissolved, then drinking it. I don't know what thats called (a variant of parachuting?), but it was my preferred method of ingestion for oxy, so we're gonna do it for morphine as well. Anyways. I have never done morphine before, and I'm excited to try it, but maybe theres something you think I should know about it. Thanks
Hey man, 100mg is NOT a "toxic dose" nor is 120mg a "fatal dose". They make morphine in 200mg pills, so clearly whoever told you that 120mg is a "fatal dose" doesnt know what they are talking about. However, 120mg COULD be fatal to someone with no tolerance, but then again, so could 30mg. What dose of oxy did you usually take? medically speaking, 20mg oxy is theraputically equivalent to 30mg of morphine, and since you havent taken any for 3 months or so you should drop your dose a little, but you know how to do that. Anyway, my guess is you'll enjoy it, but it is a different high than morphine. Morphine gives more of a body high with that warm relaxing feeling, but not as strong of an euphoric high as oxy. Most likely the pills you have are MS Contin, or Morphine Sulfate continuous release. If so, your method of ingestion should work well. Enjoy. -V
what about a good conversion by nose? to the op, pills around here come in either 30mgs or 100mgs. don't pop 2 hundreds, but 2 thirties should be good.
For $15.00 Id imagine he's looking at 30's. 60's were more common around here, the orange generics. The purple ones are the 30's and yea two of them sounds right to me.
Verisimilitude - I typically took 20 mg of Oxy, so at or slightly under 30 of morphine should be good? RELAYER - If 20 mg of oxy = 30 mg of morphine, and we're getting two pills, I'll end up with 60 mg of morphine. If I'm looking for just a nice typical opiate high, shouldn't I just need only one? 20 Oxy was my typical amount anyways... Oh and I've never blazed while on opiates. I think I'm gonna try it when I get the morphine. It should be interesting because opiates are body high while weed is a mind and body high, and I hear good things about the weed and opiate combo.
It depends Talby and you wont know until you take it. Many posters here and those I know in real life who have tried MS Contin had little to no effects on upwards of 60mg's. Dont ask me why lol I have no idea, maybe Im just hyper sensitive to it. Chances are 30mg's will have you feeling nice, but possibly longing for more. Better safe than sorry though, of course
better safe than sorry for sure. at this point, ive read almost all the experience reports for morphine on erowid. and im kind of debating what i should do. i might just try taking 30 or 20 by itself, or snorting 10 and seeing what happens. im no fan of snorting though. my nose is pretty effed up from my crazy allergies and various nose surgeries in the past. but i know though that i wont be taking all 60 at once. I would rather not get high at all then risk one of those puke-fests that seem to be oh so common in high doses. that would be freaking scary.

I'd shoot it. I usually shoot 60mg morphine pills cooked down in a spoon two or three times a month. I actually 120mg, two 60mg pills in one shot, a couple weeks ago. I hadn't ate all day, and I got really sick, haha. I was puking up any liquids that I drank pretty much all day, but I was also pretty fucked up all day. My arm swelled slightly right after I did it too, but it went away pretty quick. Have fun, 120mg is good but I'd start with something like 60mg, which for me, shooting (best way) or oral is a very nice buzz. I actually just snorted 30mg and took 30 mg orally. Probably bang one later.
Damn! Very nice. I have a good friend who gets them for free from his mom and sells them. He sells 60mg for 15 a piece to most people, but will usually hook me up with a few for $5, (then the rest are full price because he uses it to pay his rent, lol) and then usually all the oxy 15mgs that I want for $2 to $2.50. I know one of the guys he sells the 60's to for $15 turns around and sells them for $30 to other people. I don't think I'd pay that much for one pill, although I did once for dilaudid 40mg, which totally fucked my world up, best $30 I ever spent.
personally i don't know what to say... 100mg morphines(grey round) are $10 each 60's=7 30's=5 15's=2 0xy 80's= $20 i guess there is no shortage around here... anyway, i have taken both extensively, and i would say morphine is a little weaker, but feels cleaner, i cannot explain that. the morphine comedown doesn't make me nearly as edgy as oxy comedown either.
^ If I shot I wouldn't shoot pills. Although I can't say because drugs haven't ruled me like that at this point. With morphine I have no clue but it involves removing binders and crap that could fuck up your veins/body. I would only shoot dilaudid or heroin preferably if I did because it is already powdah, and dilaudid doesn't have many binders I believe, at least some types don't.
This is terrible advice espeically for someone who doesn't do opiates often. Even if he was interested in shooting up, shooting 60 mgs could make him overdose.
Talby is off drugs now, but still advice about banging is not all that friendly around here... even here, yes. Shooting should be the result of desperation/ignorance, and not given as advice. Anyway, reading this thread again is funny because I'm friends with him and the morphine thing fell through, we still don't have them Whatever, I'm doing oxy today lolz.
lick the coating off an cook it, crush it cook it again, drop a filter suck it up. generics are waxy tho, use more water than usual, let it settle an you can scrape the wax too the side. generics take some love but are still goooood. save whats left and rewash it!
