Ok I have some seeds and my my friends parents are cool with us growing in his house.

I'm probably going to sound like a complete idiot in this thread so beware.

So far we have a little crawlspace and we covered the thing in tinfoil. Icovered the room in tinfoil because thats what they do in the trailer park boys (not sure if it helps).

We have to reptile lights that are 75 watts.

What should the general temperature be for the best results.

Would a humidifyer help? (also saw that on the trailer park boys)

And should I put a heater in the room?

How much water should the plants get daily?

If there is anything else I should know please tell me.

Btw will one seed make one plant? Or do I have to mix like three and then they join up?

If anyone can offer me any advice it would be much appreciated.
And I know these things could probably be answered by using the search bar but I just want to make sure I get a correct answer.

First off, Tinfoil is a shitty reflector it shoots the rays everywhere.
a 75 watt Flourscent may be good enough for vegging but you wont get shit for buds with that.
anything under 90 degrees Ferenheit is good for pot
    No humidifiers...
    No heater
Enough water so the soil isnt cracking dry.
One seed equals one plant..now if that plant turns out to be female is another thing.

My suggestion to you is read up on some grow tutorials.

What would you suggest for a lightbulb? A 150 watt? And the room should be as bright as possible right?

The more lumens your plant get the bigger the yeild. How big is the space your growing in...from the threshold Depth-Width-hight.

It's like 5 ft high and it's sort of triangular shaped. and about about 10 feet long .

And it depends were you measure from to see how wide it is because the roof is diagonal (hard to explain).

Not very big, we just go in there to hotbox it, but were gonna try and grow now.

4 feet isnt gonna be big enough to grow my man. the light is gonna take up a foot from the roof and your plant cant be closer than 12 inches (if your using a proper light) you would have to do some screen of green and keep your plant at a short squat and spread out wide. And that might not even work.

look up the sea of green method. Its where growers focus on the main cola on lesser mature plants. Should do you some good in your tight area.

    Another question.

Should I keep them in seperate small pots?

Or should I put them in my fish tank?

I think it would be better in the fish tank because it would look better.

nope seperate pots for even ferting. I would suggest you turn that tank into an ebb & flow with some of thoes planters pebbles and a bit of acquarium silicon and tubing. Toss your seeds into a shotglass of water and wait for them to sink..may take a few minutes or it may take a few days. When it Cracks place it into a warmish napkin and roll it up. Put that in a ziplock bag and sleep with it that night (place it somewhere near you to keep it warm). If your lucky you'll wake up to a taproot. Place that root down into a 1 inch square of rockwool 1/3 depth the size of the germinated seed. Smush it down a bit and put it somewhere dark. Wait for little noob leaves to sprout and slide it under your lights ( a few inches away if its low wattage ) Wait for it to get some root structure going and then put it into a bigger rockwool cube and put that into your flowsystem. Keep the ferts going because the rockwool nor the water give the plants the nutrients they need to survive. And make sure theyre under a more powerful light and you should be well off.

High and bored; wouldn't of typed this otherwise :p

    1) Reptile lights - do you means the UV lights or is there a floro type? If you want to go cheap use a couple banks of shop lights. They are the 2x4' tubes mix warm and soft light bulbs. BTW they are cheap.

    2) Tin foil does blow but it is better than nothing. Look for a white plastic sheeting.

    3) 5' high is enough for a decent grow - keep in mind the height when you switch to the flowering cycle.

    4) Crawlspace? In the attic your biggest worry will be heat. 70 - 80 'F will be fine. As the temps go up humidity will be the concern. Mold, bud rot, etc. Good ventilation will help a lot.

    5) You know that you have a 50% chance of having a male plant. Start a few in order to not have to start over if it is a male.

    6) Watering - you have to water when they need it. You have to spend time daily with them.

    7) Separate pots of multiple sizes - transplant as you see them going root bound.

    8) No fish tank.

    9) Just put the seeds between some wet paper towel, place in a small tupperware container, place somewhere warm, vent twice a day to check for the tap root. Put right into soil. If you do use ^ advice for rockwool - pH adjust it to ~ 6 (units) by soaking it for ~ 24 hours in pH 6 water.

    10) Do not fertilize for a while - 2nd set of leaves 1/4 strength soln. Superthrive (B1 supplement) helps with rooting.

    11) Do not use the Trailer ParK Boys as a source of information :D

Biggest help is that search button.

    Green Thumbs and good luck!
    Bill
